None stranger than celtics. They have won the title 13 times in last 14 years and the fans are currently singing sack the board in a protest outside the stadium

Not that strange. As you say, they've become accustomed to success and given Celtic's resources, they should win the league every year from now until the sun dies. The board made a monumental mistake not retaining O'Neill for the rest of this season. If I were a Celtic fan, I'd be out there with my pitchfork too.
I've only left a game early once (5-1 v Tranmere), never arrive late or leave early to get stuff to eat etc. and have only gone into the concourse area during play a couple of times ever due to an absolutely desperate need for a piss. But I'd be tempted to leave the next game early just as a 'fuck you' to Doug.
People have all sorts of reasons for leaving early. Including just because they fucking want to! They're paying their money, they can choose to stay or not. In fact, as a customer, blame the players and management for not putting in a decent enough performance and result that they don't want to stay. Sure, it's a bit fickle given the results of the last year, but people have got other shit to do than sit in the cold around Christmas getting annoyed and frustrated at a load of overpaid men not doing their job properly.
Thanks Doug you fucking clown, left us absolutely desperate after a few injures and now we’re struggling, guys a joke. If we don’t get 2 or 3 by the Stoke game then we’re fucked

Yep, sick of hearing the ‘positives’ of a small squad. Our best chance of going up and he wasn’t brave enough. Won’t get another chance with the amount of parachutes coming in.
