I think I’m about the same.

Done Arsenal, Man U, Norwich, Birmingham, Shrewsbury, Walsall, MK Dons, Wembley (does that count?), Both Nottingham teams and I think that’s about it.

I’m hoping we go up and Huddersfield stay up. They’re one that we could by pass again

Done 63 - brought back memories going through the league tables checking the teams off - got to say the most fun has been the League 1 and 2 grounds over the last few years - we had such a miserable away record in my lifetime following the City away - worst ground for me due to the sheer hopelessness of any Cov team to get a result was St James Park Newcastle - I’ve been there 7 times to watch the City and we conceded 30 times and scored 3 - !!!!!!
Just looked up the games I attended and most of them were fucking freezing cold too - here we go
1974 Lost 5-1
1976 Lost 5-0
1994 Lost 4-0 Twice (1993/94) & (1994/95)
1997 Lost 4-0
1999 Lost 4-1
2010 Lost 4-1
Remind me if we ever play them away again not to go!
Every one of those was followed by a miserable coach journey home!

38 of the current league clubs.... if included teams which have dropped out of the league I think it would be low 40’s...

although I’m far from a regular now, home or away.... been to more Italian matches in the past several years than English matches...

65, all with City, don’t see the point of visiting other games to tick them off but each to their own.

Been a fair few times. We won once in 1988? I think. Went up for midweek game that got postponed and got invited back for the cup game by sir John hall. We got battered by them and my mate got arrested after Andy Cole scored. I had to drive him up for the magistrates hearing a few weeks after. 3 trips 90 minutes of football t and a defeat to boot.

Yesterday at Tranmere was a new one. Beforehand I counted and it was around 68. Since we were relegated in 2001 only picked up 10 new grounds. That could be viewed as surprising as with our demise it's widened the range of teams we play.
Interest level ,cost and a couple of other factors the likely reason.

Tranmere tent bar run by their trust was fantastic. Relatively cheap, super friendly and great music too, literally outside one of the stands. If only all games and fans were like yesterday.

I have done 53/90 of the current grounds. Missing Ipswich, Lincoln, Rochdale in league one I can tick off this year but annoyingly missed Bolton and doesn’t look like I’ll tick that off for a while. Although done 44 with City, and rest with mates who support other clubs. Done a fair few that are out the leagues now: Yeovil, Chesterfield, Notts County, Barnet. As well as a fair few in Europe and South America.

Very painful. I knew we had a shocking record there. Some success in mid to late 80's when you didn't go thankfully.

Chicken Balti for me which was good.

First song I heard in there was "Alternative Ulster" by SLF. One of my all-time favourites.
Absolute top place.

Coincidentally totted up mine after getting back from Tranmere last night, also 65 (67 if White Hart Lane and Upton Park were to be included buy assumedly they’re now removed). Again, all with City. Southend and Rochdale the only remaining newbies to come this season.

Ah I see. I dont do many 'neutral' games, but one of the few I have done happened to feature Huddersfield. It was their 1995 play off final against Bristol Rovers. Just happened to be in London that weekend and it was something to do!

Fleetwood away is the one ground missing for us in league 1 this year.

And guess what it's midweek again this year. No consideration for London folk!

Crazily still contemplating it!

My Stats (Yes I'm sad enough to have a spreadsheet):

Total Grounds: 84
Total of current 92 (91): 62
Grounds visited with Coventry: 65 (28W, 18D, 26L)
Grounds in the current 92 and visited with Coventry: 56 (21W, 15D, 24L)

Will lose Wimbledon, Brentford and most likely a League 2 relegation this season.

I've spoken to a few people over the years who've done the '92 (many completed in the 1970's'/80's) and the conclusion is that with all the 'comings and goings' by the time you've got your 92nd you will have amassed well in excess of 100.

True and when you factor in the multiple visits to certain grounds..total away days are probably doubled!

I haven't counted, but have a weird 'love' for visiting some grounds - Norwich about 5 times. Sheffield United and Newcastle similar (although my brother lives there, so obvious why). Been to both Nottingham grounds loads of times. Weirdly never done either of the Liverpool or manchester clubs, but been to Carlisle, Preston and some other far flung clubs.

If you want to achieve the '92 (or 91 as it were at the outset of the creation of old Div 4)' by watching your team play at all the venues, then supporters of the traditional P'ship 'mainstayers' would have no chance. (similarly supporters of traditional basement lingering clubs)
With the exception of the meteoric risings of Wimbledon (gone), Wigan, Bournemouth and Huddersfield and Burnley since the '70's, then hoping on an away cup draw is the best shot.
How ironic that our steady decline and then minor up curve has assisted in supporters at least having something to 'cherish' from the experience!

Sheffield United is always a great away day. Ended up in a pub there one year and the floor was made of sand and the only beer available was Lager, Strong Lager and Extra Strong Lager written on paper over the taps, great place!

There was a pub in Lansdowne Street, Leamington years ago where we called in for a quick beer. A right dive, that the landlord had clearly let go to the dogs. Had no lager, no bitter and no mild ( don't know if they even serve that anywhere, now?) It really was like the Slaughtered Lamb, without any customers!

There was a pub a few years back, probably about 2004, not far from Bramall Land owned by a City fan. He did minubuses down to the ground. Cant remember the name.
