Hi All,

Im one of the lucky thousands of Cov fans who have followed our club during some of the Premier League inception days right down to the days of hopefully never repeated League 2 (Morecambe etc).

Some games I just wish I went to (Spurs away to stay up final day of season).

Some of my Favorite away days :
1996 - Wimbledon at Selhurst Park final away game to stay up We won 2 nil! we took an incredible following! Recent ones obviously Notts County play off 2nd leg! and Sunderland 5-4 right up there!

Worst - too many to count! or want to remember! but Morecambe was a low! took us 9 hours to get home next day!

Not too many clubs have played all 4 divisions over a 20 year period. Im sure someone will now produce a list of about 20 who have!

Anyway ticked off Tranmere yesterday! Hearing the chant " we will never play you again" made me think I certainly hope so!

How many of the football 92 some on this forum have done? Just 90 this year due to RIP Bury and us play at St Andrews!

My son wont let me count my Championship/Premier League away days (he wasn't born or too young). As they only count according to him if we go together!

60 - Overall , 52 with my lad.

By my reckoning the only current league teams we haven't played away since the turn of the millennium are Fulham, Huddersfield, Salford, Macclesfield and Bournemouth.... so we must have a fair few fans with 80+
I'm at 26 and hoping to add Lincoln and Bristol Rovers to those this season.

Exactly there’s got to be many who have done close to 90 or more....as many have dropped out the 92, like of Barnet, Chesterfield, and Nots County! We took big followings all those games.

Burnley fans have done it in about 15 years...omg Wolves too in 80s were league 2 equivalent and there’s Luton who played premier league also as well as Swindon.

Your right my other better half is from Huddersfield and For 25 years been waiting for a away day there. Might miss them again this year if they get relegated.

Good achievement!
Out of interest, which opposing fans on all your away days did you find the most unpleasant? I know Sunderland fans get a lot of stick on this forum, but I have also found their North-East rivals Newcastle to be the worst kind of knuckle dragging bigots and lowlifes I have ever had the displeasure to share a football stadium with.

Leaving the ground at Sunderland last year was scariest and Port Vale. When I mean scary I mean scared for my son.kicked off outside.

But the most unpleasant fans I have witnessed is our own when’s it’s been absolutely toxic....like Oxford away few years ago when relegated. Seen more punches thrown in our own end over the years...lol.

Even at Exeter away we only took (limited to 300 odd) we were infighting. Exeter fans very pleasant.

I'm only missing Fulham, Brentford, Huddersfield and Salford in terms of clubs I've not seen City play at.

Because of clubs having new stadiums since I saw us play at their old grounds, I need the following stadiums:

Etihad/Man City
London Stadium/West Ham
White Hart Lane (2) / Spurs

Hope too see us play at some European grounds in 5 years time lol. (I was too young to go to Plovdiv and Munich in 1970)

I saw our own fans fighting each other at Forest Green and Cheltenham away in the 2017-18 season. Also saw home fans fighting each other back in 2006 at the Ricoh Arena. I think it was against Brighton.

I have done 42 (43 if I count Selhurst when we played Wimbledon), I have not been to many of the new grounds, Man City, West Ham, Southampton etc.

I think, essentially it's 'the clubs' as opposed to 'the grounds'. If you've done the 'old' you don't have to do the 'new'.
Depends on the criteria I suppose.
But two decades ago, a club considering a move to a new stadium wasn't even an issue.

Hoping to add Roots Hall and Sincil Bank to the list this season.
Never went to Craven Cottage for that Milk Cup tie and incredibly, I've never seen us play at Stoke.
Went to the (as it was then) Mcalpine stadium when Oldham Ath were the opposition.

I Supose there’s opposition fans out there who have watched us at 3 or 4 different grounds. Not including Wembley.

Currently 63. I only needed Bolton and Ipswich this season. (Didn’t do the cup game recently)

67 if we’re including Gigg Lane, Ninian Park, Upton Park and White Hart Ln. :p

Of course the old grounds count!

There’s also Mill Moor, and Pride park.

Mid 40s for me.

New grounds this year include Bolton, Forest Green and potentially Ipswich.

Gonna try and get to AFC Wimbledon too if there are any tickets left at the end of the season.

I thought McAlpine was Huddersfield? Oldham’s ground is/was Boundary Park?

82 if I include places like Maine Rd (never been to Etihad) and places outside the league such as Stockport, Chesterfield & Wrexham. I too ticked Tranmere off yesterday. Without new grounds and replaced league teams I'm back down at only done 69.

I've also got foreign grounds, non league and some twice eg 2 x Wembley, HR & Ricoh, 2 x Derby etc so have completed over 100 in total.

This year I've got a couple of new ones (FGR in Checkatrade as I'd missed league game) but missed Bury & also gained Salford that I've not yet been to.

23 grounds with The sky Blues but not been to any of the grounds of the teams that are currently in league one.

been to old Trafford as a guest of Bobby Charlton to watch them against Newcastle? Huddersfield to watch them play Swindon on the piss in a free executive box but watching other teams is boring

Most of the grounds I been to are league 2 and league 1 almost all, so glad I did the outposts of , Carlisle, Accrington, Morecambe, FGR, Exeter, Plymouth etc.

Hopefully never play them again unless in cups. Bring on the championship.
