Does anyone know what CCFC's current turnover is? (1 Viewer)

If we are only allowed to spend 65% of turnover on players next year because of the FFP rules, does anyone know what this figure is? It would give a better idea of what sort of a squad we will have next year and might be the reason why they have bought in a manger who is known for bringing through youth players.

Might also give an insight into why the Ricoh Arena deal is seen as crucial by SISU.

Reasonable guess for the year to 31/05/13 would be between 6 and 7 million including the sales of Keogh and Bigirimana (say 1.5m?)

so turnover if crowds remain same next season £5.5m tops because we do not have any major player sales likely

If your figures are correct that would mean we have 65% of that for players budget, this is £3 250 000. How does this compare to the current budget? I know we get away with it this year due to us just coming down but next year will be different.

You will get loads of made up answers as no one really knows anything but make out they actually do in a deluded way.

The only figure mentioned this season was the team was about £4.5 million. but there is no doubt creative accountancy - as they definitely publish attendance that in no way reflect the true figures. Sometimes they include corporate, sometimes not - depending which way they want to massage the figures. If they want to sell, the crowd levels will be increased, if want to show more losses, the crowds will be less. This from someone who works within the Ricoh.

Didn't Waggot say the other night we needed a turnover of £6m to get the the playing budget to the level they want. You have to assume with all this talk of FFP and putting a less competitive team on the pitch next season that our turnover is certainly less than this.

It's unbelievable when you compare it to the richest club Real Madrid with a turnover of over £400m. Even Villa have a £100m turnover.
