Anti growth coalition!
Shire tories were never going to get behind fracking or the relaxation of planning regs.

Mogg says he would allow fracking in his back garden. So he’s cool with having no drinking water then and perhaps a few sinkholes into the mix

But he can pay a man to walk from Tiverton with bottles of water balanced on his head

Rees-Mogg doing the rounds this morning talking bollocks. Trying to sell the IMF slashing its growth forecast for the UK to 0.3% next year as a victory because its still growth.

Sounds like the government are about to U turn on a windfall tax although Rees-Mogg is already trying to claim it’s not a windfall tax.

Wondering here, who is going to put themselves forward from Labour as a candidate for ... Forgot her name again, the Coventry North-East/ East MP in the next GE.

There can't be many serious candidates.

To be fair, he more than likely has several back gardens!

And if he only had one, you know any noise disturbance would be at the back of his garden, so quite some distance away.

Further to this unless I'm hugely mistaken the wholesale price is currently trading almost identically to this time last year.
So what about those projections?
What really happened?
Is it just the expectations of reduced consumption?
Or does just the suggestion from the various gov't's of intervention restore sanity on trader's behaviour.

Colleen Fletcher. And I only remember her name cos she was my MP and has the same surname. Fairly safe seat, you’d have thought it would be attractive.

I can only assume one of two things has happened.

The CLP has flipped from being on the right and gone back to left leaning.

There is a long history of this happening in that part of the world. The pendulum does shift like this, but not too often.

Or some people are just on orchestral manoeuvres in the dark.

Out of the three CLP's that make up Coventry, this is the one that need to change the most in my view.

So no, I still won't be reading it.

Liz Truss Doesn’t Care About Stopping the War in Ukraine | Novara Media

By preventing peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, Liz Truss is dragging out a devastating conflict. But that’s a price she’s willing to pay for preserving Britain’s interests, argues Oliver Eagleton.

So Truss categorically told MPs at PMQs today she won't be cutting public spending.

Hmm, this definitely won't come back to bite her, no siree.

Shame, funny though that Mr "automatic reselection is not a right" has been deselect by the local members and even funnier after the stitch up that was Ilford South and his selection last time around.
