Christ that's depressing. Not sure I agree with that tbh, doesn't feel right to me. Others may feel differently.

So sad. No idea what I could have done, but if I had known before, I would have somehow tried to reach out to her. Maybe just having another friend, or someone to talk to might have somehow helped.

Obviously she will have had family and friends, but maybe she needed many more positive voices around her in her life.

I find it so sad and she was so young. A tragic loss.

Werid thing is I am going to need a few months before I become fighting fit again so I might as well start testing out home advantage on Elo and Glicko-2 and posts the results for all to see.

I have the correct settings

All the other stuff will be up to date hopefully by next weekend.

Got a busy few weeks ahead of myself when I get back.

Forgot he enjoyed chess simulations.

'things go up, things go down'.

I reckon he's Hans Niemann and he had a bit of a mishap in his latest match.

how would this even work? If and when Truss is forced out don't they need another leadership election?

If they force her out this quickly it shows they can’t be trusted to choose the next prime minister and an immediate general election should be called.

I'm not an expert in tory party bylaws but surely it would be she resigns and the someone would need to be a caretaker until they can have a leadership election.

The current tory party rules mean they have to have an election to choose a new full time leader.

I seem to remember Boris remained as a caretaker until a new leader was found?

Some good stuff there. Missing a real easy poster quote for Health and Education I think, even if the stated policies there are pretty good. Need something nice and soundbitey.

So who can tell me what happens if the cap on energy price's (wholesale ) is above the actual?
Let it ride or reduce it in line?

Don’t get me started on Makka Pakka. A stoner with permanent rings around his eyes and benefits cheat to boot. He could run okay when his walking frame rolled off down a hill.

Further to this unless I'm hugely mistaken the wholesale price is currently trading almost identically to this time last year.
So what about those projections?
What really happened?
Is it just the expectations of reduced consumption?
Or does just the suggestion from the various gov't's of intervention restore sanity on trader's behaviour.
