No. He didn't call anyone criticising Israel antisemite. He did say criticism often strays into antisemitism.

Don't think he ever directly called Corbyn an antisemite but he has said repeatedly that his response to it in on the left wasn't good enough.
He did call your hero Farage out on antisemitism though.

Some of these piqued my interest.

"Donald Trump talks very differently about the Jewish people compared to past presidents. | USAPP" Donald Trump talks very differently about the Jewish people compared to past presidents.

mmmm he has said many things about Mr Corbyn and he’s also kindly put a 10 point guide on how not to be an anti semite

what’s truly odd is why anyone takes this tool and his views seriously - he’s the lefts Lozza Fox but his acting is even worse and he has a lot in common with the late max Moseley it seems

I think his ten point guide was how to criticise Israel without being antisemitic though he may have issued another one.
I'm not sure I get the comparison with Fox.

Not sure but this didn’t help (from yesterday)

‘Mr Farthing said he was "turned away" into the aftermath of the explosion at Kabul airport.

He posted an update on his plight this morning writing: “The whole team & dogs/cats were safely 300m inside the airport perimeter. We were turned away as Joe Biden had changed paperwork rules just 2 hours earlier.

“Went through hell to get there & we were turned away into the chaos of those devastating explosions.”

Whatever mistakes we’ve made during this shambles it is x100 for Biden and the US. We and the other allies and Afghans have been left to pickup the pieces to some extent

Rightly or wrongly, we supported the US in their hunt for Bin Laden and inflict some damage on the Taliban for hiding terrorists, which was the original aim of the military action, as did other NATO forces and allies. Bidens recent conduct shows no acknowledgement of that support and sacrifice, the lives lost or those that are still stuck there.

Basically he’s ignored military advice and requests from us and other allies to discuss and alter plans. He knows best….apparently...yet they’ve left $80bn worth of military equipment to the Taliban or even worse, ISIS and in the ‘July rush’ vacanted an Afghan military airbase which would’ve been an alternative evacuation route for US and allies/Afghans. They didn’t even tell us or other allies

Redirect Notice

The bloke and his advisors are a shambles. I say that as someone who hoped and believed that after Trump, America, and to some extent the western world, was now in safer hands.

Trump set the wheels in motion with the agreement but the delivery of that agreement in recent months and key decisions in terms of the exit/withdrawal are with Biden.

I agree with SBD that I’d be worried if Trump was in charge at this point as he’s a total loose cannon and could’ve done anything, however, I honestly don’t think it would’ve got to this point ie he’d have done something weeks ago. The last thing Trump would want is America looking so weak on the world stage. It saddens me to say this as I know that Trump is a dangerous idiot (at best !). What a mess ! Rant over !

Let’s hope City bring some better news and smiles today

Trump said recently he'd have been out by May, don't but this Trump would have done something line.

Same as I don't buy Biden saying he couldn't halt the withdrawal process, of course he could of.

The trouble is Steve that Trump signed this deal with the Taliban in May 2020. We’ve had 18 months to get everyone out. This hasn’t all of a sudden crept up on us. It’s a catastrophic fuck up of epic proportions.

The flight was privately funded and organised wasn’t it? All they had to do was stamp the paperwork and they only did that under duress. My understanding is that if they had have done it when first asked not only would he had got his animals out he would have gotten his people out and the government didn’t want this as it would show them up, hence they fucked him around until public opinion forced the government to backtrack, in which time the Taliban took over at the airport and were stopping individuals through including his staff. Could have been very different outcome had the government not been dicks and an infinitely better PR scoop than the disastrous car crash Laurel and Hardy photo opp Boris and Raab orchestrated yesterday. All they had to do was be nice people in the first instance.

Former Royal Marine used foul and abusive language as he sought a way out of Kabul for his animal sanctuary staff and 200 cats and dogs

I know. Especially when government failures to take simple measures such as make phone calls, open emails etc at all levels undoubtedly meant people were actually left behind.

Its staggering incompetence. If you emailed it went unread, if you phoned it went through to a washing machine repair centre in Cov. But lets blame the person who arranged his own, privately funded, charter to get out.

Biden is on the slide

It's not just Afghanistan -- Americans are losing faith in Biden on many issues

Biden's approval... is at its lowest point in his presidency. In the average of polls, he stands at about 47%. That's a... decline from the beginning of this month (51%).. and beginning of June (54%)... He is losing ground on a number of key issues.

It seems utterly bizarre that the only us democrat who could beat trump was a very old man best his mediocre best

And Obama was never really a fan was he

Just don’t think spending time and resource on animals is the priority nor should social media decide operational decisions in a humanitarian crisis.

None of that excuses the Tory fuckups. But it’s the forces not the Tories saying what I’m saying.

Again. As far as I understand it was a private charter flight paid for by donations. The animals went in the hold and the Taliban wouldn’t let the Afghanistan personnel and their families through. Had the government did what they were embarrassed into doing in the first place it’s quite possible that the Afghanistan personnel would have gotten out too.

Not the point who paid for it or where the animals were (though I’d bet a few afghanis would’ve happily gone in the hole considering they were clinging to the outside of aircraft). But it’s the operational resources needed to secure and organise the flight that are taking away from people in need.

I get you’re a vegan or whatever and think animals take precedence over humans, I don’t is all.

It needed an OK from the government. Nothing more nothing less. Raab could have done it from his sun bed with a mobile phone. A few Afghans never got the opportunity to go in the hold because of the deliberate delay by the government, the flight didn’t stop anyone from getting on a flight. The only people that did that was the government. Given PF couldn’t get his people and family on this privately chartered plane I’m guessing that it was half empty, at least. Not sure how you’re not getting this. This flight hasn’t stopped anyone getting out of Afghanistan, had the government not been dicks this flight would have had many more people on it as it would have gone before the Taliban took control of access to the airport and more people would have gotten through. This should and could have been an opportunity to increase capacity getting out but that was scuppered by our government.
