And if the big businesses and rich people didn't avoid as much tax, we could lower taxes and rates for smaller businesses so they were less of a burden on them or give them support with grants etc.. But don't worry, you just keep on believing the rich when they tell you it's everyone else's fault and they're the good guys creating the wealth and jobs.

This is a stupid argument let's be honest. I can't believe you're falling for the household budget analogy.

Well why don't you just post it rather than getting annoyed that people haven't seen something?

Sounds like 'fake outrage', and we know how much you hate that.

Well it was quite clear what you meant by the Wenger comment.

Just post the clip and we can all have a look, then you can make comments about what people are choosing to see.

A newly unearthed interview from 2013 casts doubt on the Green Party leader's claim to have apologised.

Great speech. Lammy's attitude by contrast is inattentive and disrespectful.

With all this talk about putting native wildlife on banknotes instead of historical figures, now no doubt deemed unacceptable by the usual suspects, here is a wonderful design to commemorate the parting sum given to Mandy for lying and giving away many confidential UK policy decisions to Epstein.

These people have no shame, he asked for £547,201! Same as the likes of Truss taking all the benefits for being a former PM.

Where I used to live we had an MP who got caught leaking stuff to Russia. Despite this he stood in the next election, with zero campaigning, knowing he wouldn't win. All because a serving MP who loses an election gets a nice payout.

Has he not been in power while investment in the criminal justice system went through the floor
And now we find ourselves in a position of least worst decisions
I do think he’s a good mp but he’s been in charge for 14 years

I think he is a pretty good old fashioned MP who considers his job to represent the electorate and not just parrot out scripted answers like Starmer and Reeves. He also was bought up in genuine poverty unlike our current Prime Minister who pretends he was.

Because he didn't have a fucking clue what he was doing. Constant gaffes. Woefully under prepared. Didn't understand anything to do with the process. Brash and arrogant.

He was majorly under qualified for the role, which was underlined by him claiming the UK could do trade deals with individual EU countries.

Is it OK for the government to provide all NHS health information to Palantir? Did you complain about that?

This seems to have flown under the radar a bit. Looks like Starmer is well on the hook for Mandleson's appointment. Was given warnings but went ahead anyway.

A 'weirdly rushed' appointment - and other key takeaways from Mandelson files

A batch of documents has revealed new details about the appointment of Lord Mandelson as ambassador.

So you're OK with this company producing data for the IDF used in targeting.

Then there is this association with Mandy & Epstein.

And dissent within the NHS.

Maybe you should think about this some more?

It's because Starmer is a completely void entity, with no discernible politics at all.

Obviously I am not a fan,no,the trouble is between generations really, not that it would make much difference, I don't even no if it's a labour or Tory idea, but I think I can say most younger folks are conditioned to accept it, I wish I could get it through to my daughter but she's in a trance and to busy teaching her teen-agers the art of spending endlessly and giving them a good life as she sees it.

Classic Farage. All mouth and no trousers. Great at shouting from the sidelines, but when it comes to doing actual work they can't be bothered and/or don't know what to do.

Imagine this fucking idiot running the country.

And I wonder if he'd be so sympathetic to the Labour government inheriting financial problems?

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage has said he wishes the party "hadn't bothered" to take minority control of Worcestershire County Council, because of its financial problems.

You can be sure that all the Reform supporters criticising Labour every time they mention the mess they inherited will have no issue when 6 months in Farage declares everything is fucked and can't be fixed because of the mess he's inherited.

Investigation finds Reform UK council leader breached code of conduct

Independent investigation found council leader breached confidentiality by publishing information about live criminal case that could have jeopardised proceedings
www.coventrytelegraph.net

"Publicly releasing such details could have jeopardised the ongoing prosecution, caused undue distress to the victim and undermined community cohesion.

"Whilst transparency remains vital for public confidence, in this instance a more measured and confidential approach was required."

Ms Ward went on to state: "The information shared by Cllr Finch was not trivial. It concerned matters that could have a direct impact on the effectiveness of a police investigation and the stability of the community.

"Had this information remained confidential, it would have helped to protect the anonymity and wellbeing of a victim, ensured that the prosecution would not be compromised and prevented unnecessary escalation of public concern and unrest."
