Surely if they have failed they shouldn't really have a choice if they leave?Sorry, what?

Feels like there's some key info missing. There's similar schemes in other countries so would assume what is planned is broadly in line with those.Surely if they have failed they shouldn't really have a choice if they leave?they should be forcibly removed anyway?

I tell you what, I reckon if they offered 40k to many British citizens they would be off.
Oh and if course they’d be taxed on it and then according to most on here should be denied their pension.
I'd fuck off for far less than that if I didn't have family to look afterI tell you what, I reckon if they offered 40k to many British citizens they would be off.
Where would you go?I'd fuck off for far less than that if I didn't have family to look after

It says the estimate is it will save £20m so it can't just be getting people who were being removed anyway to leave a week early!
CreteWhere would you go?
Was in a call about the thousands of boys physically and sexually abused for decades at medomsley
It's a one man band consultancy though, to bill income of that level in a year seems rather unusual especially when the employee has another job as an MP. The company might have subcontracted work out but that wouldn't have left £397k in liquid assets a few months later, would it?That doesn’t show that the business got a large cash injection from somewhere. That shows that the business made sales with very little cost attached; not uncommon for a consultancy-type business. Without a proper breakdown of creditors you’d have no idea whether these were other consultants owed money, tax liabilities or something else. Given there was no erroneous creditors declared in the liquidator’s report I don’t see how you can cast aspersions like this.
For reference, I don’t even know who the woman is beyond being an MP so no idea whether the sales element has anything fishy about it.
I'll start a crowd funderI'd fuck off for far less than that if I didn't have family to look after
IdiotLammy strikes again
Benidorm with all the other britsWhere would you go?
Guy is a moron, but you can say that of a lot of people in parliament. Don't know how these people end up in important positions. Is anybody prepared to explain to me why David Lammy holds one of the great offices of state when he is a complete dunce.
You would think a Foreign Secretary might know that..
Cyprus is not a member of NATO.
It is one of four European Union (EU) member states that is not part of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), alongside Austria, Ireland, and Malta. Cyprus has maintained a policy of neutrality since independence in 1960, and its ongoing dispute with Turkey—particularly over the northern part of the island, which has been under Turkish military occupation since 1974—has complicated any move toward NATO membership.
They kiss the right arses and say the right buzzwords. Basically they're there because they have the ambition to be there and will say/do whatever gives them the best chance at that. Actual ability is very far down the list.Guy is a moron, but you can say that of a lot of people in parliament. Don't know how these people end up in important positions.
Every day I deal with business owners, and people in relatively important jobs such as solicitors who you'd think would have a level of intelligence and the number of complete and utter idiots I deal with is astonishing.
To be fair they probably say the same about me
We aren’t addressing itBenidorm with all the other brits
If we had freedom of movement still then I'd be looking at Scandinavia, probably Sweden or Denmark. Think Sweden probably tips.
The slight flaw in this plan is I'm appalling at learning languages, it just won't go in. So ignoring minor issues like visas etc then probably Canada or Australia.
The number of younger people actively planning or considering leaving the country is staggering. We've got a huge problem coming down the line if we don't address that.
I feel the same and then think ok then if you can do better you’d better step up and try rather than floating along in your little bubble where things are all okGuy is a moron, but you can say that of a lot of people in parliament. Don't know how these people end up in important positions.

People have been saying this for quite some time and dismissed as ‘hard left’.They can’t afford to get on the housing ladder due to the fact that population has grown rapidly and house building hasn’t kept up, jobs market has been damaged with increased business taxes/rapid increase in youth minimum wage and goverment is currently removing incentive for people working hard and do well for themselves

Of course it is.It’s the left leaning policies that are causing some of this
Of course it is.
For 14 years my generation has been pointing out the problem with successive Tory government policies and were told to buzz off. Now 18 months in to a Labour government and suddenly all their complaints are warranted?Increasing taxes on business/employment
Increasing taxes for higher earners
Increasing youth minimum wage by 30%+ in two years (new employment rights bill being brought in is having to be watered down as it’s likely to damage growth and employment even more)
Overall increasing taxes and borrowing by 10s of billions
These certainly arent right leaning polices. Now I haven’t got an issue with elements of them if done at the right time and in the right way but they haven’t been so far. Throw in zero private sector growth polices and a loose migration policy (Johnson’s was as much to blame for this) and this is where we are at
You must have a short memory. Don't you remember the utopia we were all living in until Starmer got elected?Of course it is.

I'm on what you would probably call the ideological left and don't see what policies they've brought in that I wanted whatsoever.I’ve been trying to flag the housing issue for the younger generation for years. I’ve also said that the government deserves more time, whilst the signs aren’t great it’s still relatively early days. Its many on the ideological left that want the government/ Starmer out now even though they have only been bringing in the policies many of them wanted, it’s bizarre.
Just to be clear I also believe the Tories were an absolute shambles in the final years of government
Of course it's because we're paying young people a pittance rather than peanuts that is the reason that there's no jobs. And business taxes disincentivising business. if only there was something that shows that the richest people have been getting richer and that large companies have been making bigger profits than ever before to show this to be horseshit. They can’t afford to get on the housing ladder due to the fact that population has grown rapidly and house building hasn’t kept up, jobs market has been damaged with increased business taxes/rapid increase in youth minimum wage and goverment is currently removing incentive for people working hard and do well for themselves
