Thats fine, I didnt really make it clear.Apologies, with that one I thought you meant I was disgusting.
I've literally said I don't agree with taxing in this thread? Even more so if women are literally unable to have a child.
I had you all in the 60% who know how much more a billion isTo be fair Pete spent a couple of paragraphs on the last page explaining the difference between millions and billions for us.
I think we've all learnt something today.
That’s an excellent policy100%. It’s more the auxiliary cost of kids: a house with sufficient space, the fucking water bill going through the roof because of bath time (went from £18 per month pre-child to £75 per month now), more food, and childcare.
As much as I think he’s a horrible bastard, Orban in Hungary has thrown a massive curveball with his proposal that any woman who has 2 kids will be exempt from income tax for life (don’t think their tax rate is as high as ours; may be wrong).
I wouldn't put your last £1 on it after some of what I've read!I had you all in the 60% who know how much more a billion is
Just you thenI wouldn't put your last £1 on it after some of what I've read!
How does it work, there's a difference in American Million's isn't there, does that transfer to the billions?I had you all in the 60% who know how much more a billion is
I think if you take that one comment in isolation it would be hard to be outraged about it. But doesn't this already happen? I don't know any women who aren't aware of their biological clock and the increased risks that come with having a baby later in life. It's naive to ask what is outrageous about telling girls the risks of having kids in their 40s as opposed to their 20s? Let's face it, it's nothing like the Handmaids Tale like made out.
Yep and that’s what needs challenging rather than going handmaids tale I thinkSeems to be a fair number of people on the right side of the political spectrum who believe women should be having more kids and having them earlier while also being against any support for parents.
We live in a world where for a lot of young people even if they are in a couple and both working its still a struggle. You're then saying either add in huge childcare costs or have one parent no longer work. How many young couples can take a huge reduction in income at the same time they have significant additional expenses?

I don’t think we comprehend just how much £4bn is
in seconds a million is 11 days
A billion???? 31 years
billion is a thousand millions
it’s more than selfish
we're at 15%. Also a lot of other subsidies for families having 2 or more kids - home improvement grants, subsidised home purchase loans, etc100%. also to be clear it's only for EU nationals (not through choice but EU law). Generally those from 3rd countries(inc UK) wouldn't get anythingInteresting!
Just the reality of the net money supply over timeHere’s one for you Pete
Did you know you could have spent a £1m per day since Jesus was born (or 2030 years for non believers) and you still wouldn’t have spent a trillion !
Ps we’re about to £3trn in debt, USA £38trn
Soon to be $39trnHere’s one for you Pete

I’m sure most women are fully aware when it becomes harder for them to have children as well.
Council tax bills in Coventry will rise less than expected – with the local authority set to sign off a 3.95% increase.
Labour-run Coventry City Council had been budgeting for the maximum rise of 4.99%, but said it had been able to reduce that amount after receiving better than expected funding from central government.
Are we having a year where we don't see our council tax bill go up way beyond inflation while services get cut???
Interesting u turn on the local elactions
It’s all choice I suppose democracy at th expense of a lot of money probably the correct call
That is exactly what will happen. Labour are trying to avoid the drubbing they will get in May.Which elections are these?
Assume we're not spending time on money holding elections for councils that are being abolished in the local government reorganisation!
That’s the argument but who cares about spending money we don’t haveWhich elections are these?

On balance democracy should win
What I meant was that as a result of the local government reorganisation, which I believe is to resolve the issue of some area's having two tiers of local government, there was concern that we, ie: taxpayers, would be spending a large amount of money holding elections for seats & councils that will imminently cease to exist. That is exactly what will happen. Im pretty sure the target for people like rupert lowe and farage is to split the right wing vote and allow the greens or labour in again so they dont actually have to govern and continue to grift from the sidelines .. thick cunts
