Why are the green party so weird? In theory if it was about being green I'd probably be inclined to vote for them over the other cunts.

Yep. In terms of their plans for energy and the environment I'd really like to vote for them.

But there's too much mad shit around other things that I just can't get behind.

And this in particular is just weird and creepy. What in anyone's right mind would make you think this would be a sensible thing to do?

Does anyone know of a valid reason Reform are charging people £250 to apply to be selected as a candidate to stand in the next election?

The Reform led county council local to me is closing down the nearby tip. The next closest one in the county is 14 miles away.

I think this gives you a view into what they'd be like in government. They will cut services because they are utterly deluded that it will lead to some huge tax cut for ordinary people. They will piss off their own base voters in doing so.

The only real tax cuts will be for the wealthy, as has been the case for 47 years in this country.

It will be an utter disaster. People can complain all they want about Labour and Conservatives, but the average man on the street will get fucked so hard by Reform.

I think the massive financial issue of having a kid does need looking at. It's all well and good if somebody wants to just fire loads of kids out but never work a day in their life, not so much if both parents want to actually work.

It’s up to people themselves if they want to have children or not rather than a weirdo like him. The HMT reference is for people like him who see women’s main purpose in life as having children above anything else.

So he's said that the next generation need to be educated about women having kids earlier in life and he's not holding a gun to people to get them pregnant? I'm trying to figure it out.

Do we live in a world where some knobend says something and it's "sick" and he's a "weirdo" and people are offended but on the other hand you can't mention a religion where women can't show their face, can't marry somebody of a different religion, disobey the husband, be lesbian, wear perfume, speak to a man, have an abortion etc etc.

I can't keep up when it comes to what's outrageous and what isn't any more.

I didn't say it was a law, I just asked why it was outrageous the thought of saying about the biology of having kids earlier on in life as opposed to 40s and 50s in schools? I might have missed something but that's not really forcing or saying they will go to jail if not.

I mentioned them because somebody saying that as a suggestion is a weirdo but I just gave examples of actual weird things that can't be mentioned when it comes to things like this.

Oh and you would be surprised to know that it is being taught in schools.

All religions are man made concepts that restrict individual freedom and see women as essentially second class citizens. Parts of what you wrote above are also practised by Christianity and you have babies mutilated in the name of religion by multiple ones, it’s just barbaric.

At this point, anyone believing in an eternal paradise is just deluded.

—

At what age do you think it would be appropriate to start encouraging children to have children, BTW?

What law has been suggested though? I might have missed it but are kids being forced to have babies in what he said?

I'm not saying "right you are 15, fire some kids out". The way I read it was more that if you have kids at 40/50 then there are certain risks compared to in your 20's.

I do think so many people put off having kids until later in life for financial reasons too.

I just struggle to see how what he says is weird and outrageous but if somebody says they are worried about a hotel full of blokes with more extreme views than him towards women than him, they are far right?

We are in a society where Women are quite rightly empowered to make a career, with the possibility of having kids later on. I find his comments quite odd.

I agree with the financial reasons but not everyone wants to have children in their teens or twenties; it should be their personal choice whether they decide to or not and they shouldn’t have to pay a tax for that choice.

As I said, it’s also essentially reducing women’s role to that of baby machines first and foremost.

Oh so it's the tax of not having kids and not the educating about the biology? Not sure I agree as they won't be using the NHS for the child birth, schools etc. The focus should be on stopping people firing shit loads of kids out and relying on the tax payer to pay for them. (Which obviously will be free reign with the cap going).

It's just too expensive to have a kid if you want to have a job as well.
