I replied to a post about the tories only looking out for the rich, and gave clear, real examples of things they've done to help out working class families too..... and your reply is banging on about capitalism and socialism? That stupid Thatcherite moron chancellor not doing it currently will have an impact on everybody, the lowest paid and the higher paid. When the personal allowance is increased it actually benefits the rich most, as it means less of their income is in higher tax brackets. Also the same with upping the upper tax band. £42k at the time was well above the average wage (and still is) so actually benefits the rich and those on above average wages while poorer households get nothing from it at all.
What they're good at is making policies that on the face of it seem to be beneficial to 'normal' people but are in fact much more of a benefit for them and their rich mates.
