The usual ‘geniuses’ on this thread probably can’t stand the idea of seeing itTbf, I've had an England flag up in my garden since the 2016 world cup/euros (which ever competition it was), never had an issue in nearly 10 years. It would be seen by hundreds/thousands every day.
One of those things that's largely made up so people can play the victim imo,

Nothing wrong with being proud of the British and English flag you bellend, who knows that post might get you a few likes though for acting all cool and edgy
You basically called people flag shaggers, it’s an embarrassment moment for yourselfI don't recall saying there's anything wrong with being proud of it.
Keep frothing about things that haven't actually been said though, while calling everyone else losers.
Voted to keep the UK intact back in 2014 despite apparently hating my own countryThe usual ‘geniuses’ on this thread probably can’t stand the idea of seeing it

I'm going to divide opinion (just for a change) ..
I'm proud to be English and absolutely think anyone should have the right to put a flag up or wave it when they like without being labelled a flag shagger or a racist or patriot or whatever other derogatory terms are currently used ... however whenever I see one on a pole in someone's garden, my first reaction is to tut and think 'chavvy c**t'. I know a paradox of cuntiness on my part!
Nothing compared to Northern Ireland where flag obsession is on a whole other level. Not just Union Jacks but whole streets and roads decked with King Charles coronation flagsI'm going to divide opinion (just for a change) ..

Nothing, I found going there made me really reflect on what British identity means. Our English accents made us either very welcome in some parts or clearly unwelcome in others. What’s wrong with that?

The people living there have been treated very poorly by too many British governments considering how proudly British many there still are.
Nowhere except in the ‘Irish’ villages of NI we travelled through. Bit of a time capsule as in the Republic we had no such experiencesWhich countries have you been made to feel unwelcome in?
A public announcement on a football forum, I didn’t think you could get worse but here we are. Hope that gets you a few likes from the geniusesDom's new strategy makes me regret using .GIFs so to everyone reading this, it's my fault and I'm sorry.
They often do - Through the eye holes of a balaclava and with a hand gun tapping on the window.I’d be looking more into the drivers

Can you imagine the post coital cigarette after putting all that up?There's nothing wrong with being proud to be English or proud of the flag, I agree.
Some people just take it waaay too far.
It's these kind of people that are flag shaggers, and more than meet your description at the end of your post

Delicate!
Then go to that road and put them up on the lampposts and let's see if they get a different response. The only ones permitted are if it's a combination of Palestine, Trans and Ukraine
Nothing to do with what the flag is, its attaching anything to lamposts without authorisation that could be considered a distraction to motorists.
Although the rules seem to apply randomly. Can't have advertising on the side of the skydome arena because it would be too distracting but the council want to put electronic ads up around the ring road.
