They haven’t been worse evidentially on immigration have they?
Heard an interesting thing on one of the podcasts - Rory Stewart I think it was said that Labour genuinely felt that tories were evil and all that was needed was for good people to take over and he thought that was such nonsense

what we need is competent people with integrity who have experience and expertise but we won’t ever get it and many people don’t even want it

we want everything without sacrifice for ourselves often

I forgot about Rory Stewart - What a wanker he is

No as to be a PM that is good you have to have a vision and to lead to that vision. What is good about him?

To say he’s risen to the roles he has by looking at what’s popular and doing it is just bollox

I'd suggest they've been way worse on immigration, at least the Tories had a plan with the Rwanda deal, as bad as it was you could at least say it was a plan. Labour have nothing other than build houses everywhere while shoving migrants into our hotels, which is basically an admission of no clue whatsoever.
We've now got migrants living at tax payers expense, getting given money AND working cash in hand, you couldn't make it up!!!!

Now without wishing to get bogged down in immigration issues which has been done to death, let's look at the child benefit cap, where was that in their manifesto, or the scrapping of the winter fuel allowance for our pensioners? And how can they commit to doubling defence spending while trying to slash welfare payments to our most vulnerable?

Even today that cock Starmer has suspended 3 MP's for having the courage to stand up for labour values.

"smash the gangs" has to be one of the most stupid ideas - and he should know he was DPP.
Has smashed the gangs done anything to control drug trafficking? UK police crime solving is weak anyway plus limited access to Europol records makes it even more difficult.
Smash a gang and another one takes its place - too much money to be made and Starmer has to know that from his time as DPP.

Well they are failing on fairness.

They said they'd be no increase in council tax, this was bullshit

They capped child benefit, hitting the poorest families the hardest

They scrapped winter fuel allowance, hitting the poorest pensioners

All while pandering to Trump's demands for extra defence spending, which they've done by not even supporting British workers, instead they are buying American Jets and bombs, making millions of dollars for US contractors, I mean Who the fuck are we supposed to be fighting ffs???

Rwanda was never a workable plan and they knew it. As long as they could sell it as them trying to solve it and keep the ridiculous cost quiet and blame courts/liberals for virtually no-one being deported they could claim a win. And it worked on some people. You, for example.

And Starmer just last week had a deal with the French regarding immigration. OK, it's not brilliant and basically is moving deckchairs but it's got as much chance of making a difference as Rwanda ever had.

It's a government that has achieved something special in being unpopular with just about everyone in almost record time. Could have done really transformative things with that majority, instead they've pissed it up the wall in the name of shaving 50p off the deficit.

It’s the attitude this government seems to have and they’ll simply lay out the red carpet for people who’ll do serious damage.

Right. This just isn’t true. There’s been huge and important changes all over in workers rights climate transport infrastructure investment, changing fiscal rules to allow billions more to be spent. Absolutely stunning geopolitical achievements considering what they inherited.

Ignoring all that because of WFA and benefits cuts that didn’t even happen is more than a little silly. Of course you’ve been silly about them since Corbyn crashed and burned.

This however:

Is pathetic and McSweeney needs to go because the party management is actively harming them.

Yes. Reset our relationship with the EU, managed to get Trump backing Ukraine, kept us out of most of the flack from Trumps craziness. But wait you’re right they didn’t single handedly stop a war not involving them in the Middle East. Scratch all that.

You can dislike the bloke all you want and you can think he's a shit PM if you like, that's fine.

But to compare the careers of him and Johnson and say they're morally and integrally similar people is just utterly absurd.
