Yeah, I kind of agree, but don't you find the tweets a bit creepy. I just don't get the joke at all with the NAMBLA one. When you see all the other kiddie sex 'jokes' and then see him saying NAMBLA people are his BFF's I just find that odd.But 10 years ago. Do you not ever leave these things behind?
Hmm. Don't you find him saying that a renowned paedophile group are his best friends forever, offensive?Hes probably pissed the wrong person off and now they're trying to screw him over. His tweets aren't funny nor offensive. I find it funny how the hypocrites in Hollywood love to go after certain people after saying stupid things years ago, but are more then willing to defend and give a standing ovation to a convicted pedophile (Polanski).
Hmm. Don't you find him saying that a renowned paedophile group are his best friends forever, offensive?
Why would I?
Mike Tyson is my bff. You know the convincted rapist. Never met the bloke and never will. They're just words. Sticks and stones...
Don't know. Just seen the tweets highlighted above. There does seem to be a theme about sex with boys.Don't know much about it but what was the context of it all? People like Gervais or Frankie Boyle joke about things like that also.
Maybe.Think context means everything with it all, hard to judge it without seeing what else he tweets.
He could well be a paedo, he could just be somebody with a warped sense of humour.
Just interested to know.
Asked my daughter and she immediately said she found it offensive.
It was a picture though of a Muslim woman who was deliberately not sexy, which was the kind of the point. And I really, really cannot see how anyone could say I was anti Muslim based on one single photo, which a lot of people did not find at all offensive. Think only two had a problem with it.I’m genuinely not being difficult here but the other day you posted a picture regarding sexy women being filmed in the World Cup.
The image you posted could be considered to show you as sexist and anti Muslim. I’m not saying you are - but it could.

Massive difference between sexism and paedophilia though anyway. Think someone posting a picture a sexy women some might find sexist, but if ayone put up a post saying they like little boys touching them on the penis, I think you would have a bit of a meltdown occurring on here.
Indeed and I'm not at all outraged by this director thing to be honest. I can't for the life of me even see where the joke is though. If I could I might be able to get my head around it more. Just cannot see any humour, but hey, he's American.I found it offensive and you should immediately be dismissed! He only talked about it where you actually degraded a women by posting pics of her, you're a disgrace.
I'm joking of course but as yon can see we can all have faux outrage over nothing.
Hmm. Don't you find him saying that a renowned paedophile group are his best friends forever, offensive?
Roman Polanski? Not as much as rape of an under age girl which gets hero status from the likes of Meryl Streep
Context is king here. Its easy to pick out isolated tweets people made years ago and highlight them but a few tweets a decade ago when he was trying to go down a South Park-esque shock comedy route does not make him a paedophile.Hmm. Must have been common knowledge. Seems it was well known with Hollywood circles.Context is king here. Its easy to pick out isolated tweets people made years ago and highlight them but a few tweets a decade ago when he was trying to go down a South Park-esque shock comedy route does not make him a paedophile.
Although if he was a paedophile past history would suggest Disney would still employ him. After all they employed convicted paedophile Victor Salva to direct Powder.
Not to mention Disney owned Miramax, Harvey Weinsteins company. They've recently gone to court, and lost, in a bid to keep secret how much they knew about his actions.
Pulls up a chair and gets out the popcorn ready for the sugar rush of eleventy billion old celeb Twitter releases. In the early stages of Twitter, people seemed to be more edgy and provocative without the foresight that it'd soon become an audit on their entire character and history as it seems to be now.
Is that not a retweet of somebody else's tweet, still odd but not his own comment.Hmm. Don't you find him saying that a renowned paedophile group are his best friends forever, offensive?
Okay. Didn't spot that.Is that not a retweet of somebody else's tweet, still odd but not his own comment.
Chris Pratt, Karen Gillan, Zoe Saldana and Dave Bautista all out in support of him now.As I say, only one star has come out in support. Let's see if others do it too.
Nice to hear.Chris Pratt, Karen Gillan, Zoe Saldana and Dave Bautista all out in support of him now.
This is the muck-raking that seems to define 2018, Gunn not being a bit Trump fan is the catalyst - the guy who dug it up is one of the alt-right dicks behind the pizzagate conspiracy theory that linked Hillary Clinton to a paedophile ring operating out of a pizza restaurant or something equally plausible.
Remember when Question Time and a newspaper's letters page was the only chance the public had to embarrass themselves about politics? Great days.
The world's a mad place. Gunn in the first place for posting such things, and now the climate in which he has been fired. The worst thing is, the tweets have been known about for years. Gunn is even on record discussing them, and stating he has grown up since posting them, and ultimately apologising for them. So I don't ultimately understand why Disney took the action now, and not previously. God knows what will happen when they find out about Downey Jr's troubled past.
