I hope I never have to watch us play this formation ever again

We will play it for as long as Thorn is in charge, he's too tactically inept to change it. It's either that or 4-4-2

it doesnt work no more, even if it ever did, players never in right place at right time always pumelled down the wings

ffs we only played the diamond for 15 mins today, we switched to a 433. Tuesday night we played with 442. The diamond is a red herring

Stu we never switched to 4 3 3. Platt and McDonald played as forwards all game, McSheffery was never a 3rd forward he just drifted around on the left. Clark played on the right as if it was a diamond for most of the game and Thomas looked bewildered throughout, face it the whole game was a mess.

We definitely switched to 433 after about 15 minutes, Cody pulled wide right and sheff wide left but were making inward runs, allowing clarke and hussey to get forward. Thomas and bigi came inside in a narrow three. I was watching Harrison and Thorn shouting at Cody to pull wide in the defensive shape.

The whole game was a mess but this continual diamond bashing is a red herring

Even Knowl on gmk posted about the 433.

They won't see it, because they can't see it, because they don't want to see it

There were about 4 different formations used.

Diamond to start.
4-5-1 with McSheff and McDonald as the wingers.
Briefly 4-2-3-1 with Norwood playing in front of the deeper two midfielders.
4-4-2 with Baker on the right.

To be honest no formation would have worked today, the players just weren't at the races.

Oh I see one thing. Relegation. I also see I predicted 38 points weeks ago, 2 points out but you mocked me. I also said Donny would be bottom and you said that was ridiculous. I bow to your superior football knowledge.:D

I didn't mock your Doncaster assertion. Tell you what, show me where I did. As ever, I guess I'll wait without reply. And you got the points tally wrong then. Well done

I remember possibly having 3 players involved in the attack when we hit the post but other than that just seemed like aimless hoofs to no one in a kind of 4-6-0 formation. Shocking stuff, the club is a joke from owners through manager and players
