Not sure what to think about that...insane, unbelievable, bonkers, all 3 ??
Having led twice, then going 3-2 down, i could feel that inevitable black cloud of depression starting to form...'typical city' i thought.
Then in 7 mad minutes, we were 4-3 up...on top of the world wooo hooo, and as if that wasn't enough, Torp then rifles another into the corner of the net, to imho, get the MoM award and our 5th goal.
Yet despite the great win, i have some niggles.
Rushworth looked shaky when ANY cross came in, Dasliva gave the ball away alot, and BTA, despite the goal, looked ineffective.
Even Bobby Thomas had a mad game, scoring with a front post header, then giving away a ridiculous penalty.
Rudoni wasn't really in the game either, which is also a worry.
But despite all that, we still scored 5.
MAD game.

100% agree. Good summary

That game was a classic for a neutral, carnage at both ends, penalties, 8 goals, defensive calamity everywhere. SKY must be delighted.
A bit painful to watch for us though and even more so for Derby fans .
Some great performances for City but a few concerns also because Derby are pretty agricultural and shoddy and we shouldn’t be conceding 3 to this sort of outfit.
Exhausted now, need a lie down 😀

I know it’s not the way we play but we looked most dangerous with long diagonals in the channels. With Grimes it’s not something we use. We use it sparingly so maybe just need to use a tad more.

Bobby poor today … at fault for 2 goals … yes contributed to 2 goals but you judge your ce tre half’s on how they defend ….. may be just not quite mentally at it today ….

Felt like Mason Clarke was more direct today .. attacked the box more did well for the penalty and ofcourse his goal .. its exactly what we need him to do .

And ive not read it back but I hope asante has been given the respect he deserves for his efforts today

For me the keeper absolutely cannot stop the 1st goal nor the 3rd

- All of our front three scored (on a day when our ‘only’ RW was injured)
- We scored from a long throw
- We scored twice from a cross
- We scored five times in a league game for the first time in two seasons

The forwards in this team are fine. The defenders are not. Two weeks left in the transfer window.
In fairness , the ref was semi complicit i feel in 2 of their goals today , absolutely the softest fouls given leading to goals

This match thread was a reflection of SBT actually being a bipolar 80 year old woman who told her cat she loves her, then yelled at the cat, the cat ran away, then the cat returns with three kittens, then she loves the cat again.

Bobby's valuation went from 8 mil, to 20 mil, then 1m, then maybe 2m.

I'm going to the toilet for 20 shits.

Grimes injury a big worry. Looked in a lot of discomfort at full-time. I didn't see how it was caused.
Thought Mason-Clark was a right handful today and took his goal really well, as did Torp.
