Big test tomorrow. Away form was a very poor at the end of last season with the performance at Derby probably being the worst of the lot. Lampard and the coaching staff need to show that they’ve come up with a better approach for these sort of games.

It surely can’t be any worse than last season against Derby, think we will get another point on the board here so going for 1-1. EMC with our goal and that lump Carlton Morris with theirs.

Horrible night that was... I remember getting tickets in the away end from a Derby County schoolboy who had a career.

Did Harry Shaw do away games in the 90s... I remember being in town after but Cov coaches always went from & to the Tavern.
I just knew when they cleared our corner for their third goal that they would score. When it went in, the whole bloody ground shook and the old wooden stand felt like it was about to collapse. Anyway I'm over it now

Hope they turn up for you lot that are traveling today! Reckon we sneak it 1-0 this time, Haji with the winner.

This is probably really stupid but in the name of something different I’d drop Saka for Simms. Go for something that tries to get two six foot plus strikers in the box on the end of the crosses, have Rudi drift wide right more to support MvE out wide and get Wright EMC and Simms to occupy two forward positions and the LW mostly a bit like Tuesday.

Rushworth
MvE Thomas Kitching Dasilva
Torp Grimes
Rudoni
Wright Simms EMC

They always seem to have our number a distance is a canny manager.

Heart says sneaky 1-0 win

Head says we get battered 6-0 and Bobby Thomas rips off his cov shirt revealing a blades top underneath then snaps Rudoni’s leg in two.

I've never seen a reason Wright can't go right as he's very 2 footed and looks equally comfortable there when he does drift there. But neither Frank or Robins have done it, so I can't see it.

hoping we find a different way of playing away than last season, love to see a 442 or a 352, have a go at them, but we don’t do that at home so expecting not much different to the hull game, only simms puts a couple away 2-0 cov

They've got a few injuries, we can nick this.

Don't think it's going to be a pretty game though whatever the result
I think we will batter them
