The Match Thread is the gift that keeps on giving. Never really understand why anyone would want to post when a game is on, as I like to just concentrate on the game, but love reading back some of the comically premature comments

Really good day. The sky blue army were in fine voice. ‘Who put the ball in the Derby net, half the fucking team did!’

He was a lot better. Gave away a silly free kick for their first though. Didn't need to give the ref a decision to make in that position

Only decision to make was whether EMC was fouled IMO

I think what pleased me most about today was that we never looked like giving up on the game. In the not so distant past we deflated like a flan in a cupboard as soon as we went behind. I like the tenacity (even if our defence does still need work! )

My favourite part was the pressing at 5-3 ahead

It came in fast but think Rushworth could’ve done better with the free kick…

In a nutshell…..what a game. Fair play to the Derby fans who helped us assist the attention to one of our own who collapsed. Was a bit awkward when we equalised during it but then to get the 4th as he was being carried down the steps was just pure football class. Couldn’t write it. Get well soon whoever you are (our new lucky charm) .

That kit looks a totally different colour on TV than it does in person!

Good to get the win, especially after going behind. But we can't go through a season defending like that again. Its the same as last season, and even parts of the season before that. It needs sorting.

Leaving their penalty out of it, the other two goals we conceded were really poor.

God points, Thought Ephron had a good game, they didn't look like they could cope with him. Torp as well, took his goal well to wrap up the game.

Room for improvement certainly.

Looked pink on ifollow but on line highlights make us look like a team of highlighters

Best away end for a league game in years that was, unreal result. Anyone who thinks Lampard is loosing interest, watch his reaction at the end, he’s as hungry as us to get it done this year.

So basically, if a player wants to stop the game, he just needs to sit down for half a minute. He's not unconscious, he's not bleeding, he's not anywhere near the ball, he's in absolutely no danger, so why shouldn't the game continue? Players are clearly 'gaming' head injuries now, it's got to be stopped.

Anyway, all that aside, the game itself was a terrific watch....

It's an argument had on here every year.

Who wants to be the referee to not blow because they think someone is 'faking' a head injury and then it is real and something serious happens?

That very thing happened today at Fratton Park! I thought the ref was kinda brave but also right to do so. The Norwich player was not convincing me.

Cracking result, happy Haji is off the mark and happy for BTA getting a goal, Torp is quality and finished his chance brilliantly.

Not only did we win and scored 5 goals, but those Derby supporting wankers who hate Lampard will be furious tonight! Justin Peach and his boyfriend must be livid

Clearly the better side with some very tidy play over first 2 games. Just need to sharpen up bring a couple in and hope Rudoni stays.
we should be ok this season with an eye on the payoffs although the championship could be wide open or tightening up depending how you look at it.

Not sure anyone has said Lampard is not interested but some have suggested his body language looks off and he looks frustrated …

Disgusting comment. How about you actually get behind the players rather than making rude comments when they get injured

2bf - last Saturday was massively frustrating… he’s probably like all of us. Tuesday looked like a training game aswell.

nothing wrong with Lampard for me. The guy is a serial winner. Minor inconveniences would annoy him
