Grimes injury a big worry. Looked in a lot of discomfort at full-time. I didn't see how it was caused.
Thought Mason-Clark was a right handful today and took his goal really well, as did Torp.

Happened a few minutes from the end but he saw the game out. Hopefully nothing serious but I agree, it is a worry

This match thread was a reflection of SBT actually being a bipolar 80 year old woman who told her cat she loves her, then yelled at the cat, the cat ran away, then the cat returns with three kittens, then she loves the cat again.

Bobby's valuation went from 8 mil, to 20 mil, then 1m, then maybe 2m.

I'm going to the toilet for 20 shits.
Think moggy was in the wheelie bin after 46min.

When they had a head injury just before half time it went back to their keeper, when we have a head injury it goes back to them ?
It's the rules. Because it's where the ball is when the ref stops the game.

Inside the box, it doesn't matter who has the ball, the ball always goes to the keeper.

Outside the box it goes to the the team in possession or who touched it last:

Dasilva could have set us off there, but concedes a corner instead.

Yeah, ref did the right thing by the rules but the rules are shit as it encourages defending team to fake head injuries (which is exactly what happened). Ref should’ve played on.

He also rushed giving the Rudoni foul which rolled to Torp who buried it Having said that Grimes was lucky not to get a second booking near end

Need to see their first half free kick which they scored from again as couldnt see well at ground but looked soft at best. Same as pen. Thought overall ref was poor

That’s a bold statement

I was encouraged by the first 2 games.
We looked classy today. On another level than Derby.
Their first goal was never a free kick,. It was a foul on EMC, and Thomas was pushed for the penalty. Two hands on his back.

Awful referee. Gave us very little, and cost us 2 goals.
I thought we defended pretty well in the main. Poor for Derby’s 3rd goal though.

Scoreline flatters Derby massively.
1-6 would of been a true reflection of the game

It’s in the rules, however I found it interesting that we played for another 5-10 seconds outside the box while he was down, then as soon as we got into the box he stopped the game so the ball had to go back to the keeper. He was holding his head the whole time, so why wait?

I think what pleased me most about today was that we never looked like giving up on the game. In the not so distant past we deflated like a flan in a cupboard as soon as we went behind. I like the tenacity (even if our defence does still need work! 🤦‍♂️)

Yes because he had been down for 30 seconds which is why he stopped the game. The fact that is hard to comprehend is quite concerning.

So basically, if a player wants to stop the game, he just needs to sit down for half a minute. He's not unconscious, he's not bleeding, he's not anywhere near the ball, he's in absolutely no danger, so why shouldn't the game continue? Players are clearly 'gaming' head injuries now, it's got to be stopped.

Anyway, all that aside, the game itself was a terrific watch....

You do know you can be concussed without bleeding or being unconscious.

Defence needs a massive amount of work imo.
We look like a bunch of school kids at times when we're being put under pressure especially in or around our box, it looks like they've never kicked a ball in their lives, we have this weird habit of miskicking it in an odd panicky way.
So easy to brush off too.
Need a few egg chasing scrum sessions.

The Match Thread is the gift that keeps on giving. Never really understand why anyone would want to post when a game is on, as I like to just concentrate on the game, but love reading back some of the comically premature comments :ROFLMAO:
I have stopped posting now when the game is on, because I watch on NOW and it's at least a minute behind, so it can be very confusing and I can hear about goals before I can see them, if I come on here to check what's being posted on the match thread

Even deep into added time there miskicking inside and just outside our box.
