Im sure he went through a spell of doing similar for us? Again, probably a half decent player in there somewhere, just confidence shot along with the squad and was looking very poor.

Crikey...still, I always liked his gaolscoring ability (if not his passing over 5 yards..). That goal versus Blackpool was probably the highlight of my season last year.

Remember when we could use the excuse of the SPL being a crappy league? Those were the days.

I think Deegan had it in him to be a decent player started well but he had a long term injury and never progressed. Played in a poor side too. Remember at Leicester three years or so ago he was excellent but as i said got crocked and never the same again

Although ultimately I don't think he was good enough he was the only midfielder we had who wasn't afraid to get beyond the strikers!
