I remember watching an interview with Stewart Lee where he’s talking about why he doesn’t do celebrity game panels anymore and apparently it’s because he did never mind the buzzcocks (original series) and Bill Oddie was also on it. He said when they finished recording he thought Bill Oddie was a comedy genius who stole the show, but when they aired it it had been edited to make Bill Oddie look like a creepy weirdo. Apparently it also deeply effected Bill Oddie too, he didn’t do much in the way of guest appearances after that either.
