If Arsenal had beaten Ipswich in 1978 Cup Final we would have qualified for Europe. It was Willie Young's shocking control that set up Ipswich's winning goal so I never liked him because of that (to be fair to Willie Young, Arsenal were dreadful all game & it was a shock it took Ipswich so long to score)

Remember him at HR for Arsenal.
Whenever his name is mentioned - For those of a certain age, the first thing the mind conjures is his 'professional' foul on Paul Allen when he was clean through in the 1980 cup final.

Oh no. Saw him perform twice with Squeeze at the height of their fame and then twice with Jools Holland.

Excellent drummer.

That's 3 brilliant, funny actresses gone so recently, Patricia Routledge, Prunella Scales and Pauline Collins.
All exceptional at their craft.

Know the feeling. Reached the point where you see people from your childhood die and think 'they must have died young' only to realise they're in their 70s or 80s

Yeah, but then it works the other way sometimes too

Been watching Down Cemetery Road, staring Emma Thompson and Ruth Wilson and I was wondering how old Emma Thompson was now.

Looked it up and despite being in films for 67 years, she's only 66 years old.

Didn't he and Errol Christie have a bit of a pre fight press call grapple in the rain about 1984/85?

Saw Mike Joyce just last Thursday doing a Q&A and book signing and a mate told me Mani was gonna do a similar thing next year.
This is awful, even more so after he lost his wife just a couple of years ago.
RIP, Mani.
God bless their two young kids.

He was only on telly last week promoting a tour next year.

He was big Man U fan and I hope they play " This is the one " as a tribute when the teams walk out on Monday night.

I can still remember the first time I heard that bass line on the intro, in a bar with a massive sound system.

The hairs on my neck just stuck up.

You have to remember how young they all were, when they made that first album, they were just kids, it`s one of the all time great debut albums.
