Willie Young, Former Spurs, Arsenal and Forest centre back - 73.
Remember him mostly at Arsenal from my Pannini sticker albumsWillie Young, Former Spurs, Arsenal and Forest centre back - 73.
If Arsenal had beaten Ipswich in 1978 Cup Final we would have qualified for Europe. It was Willie Young's shocking control that set up Ipswich's winning goal so I never liked him because of that (to be fair to Willie Young, Arsenal were dreadful all game & it was a shock it took Ipswich so long to score)Remember him mostly at Arsenal from my Pannini sticker albums

Whenever his name is mentioned - For those of a certain age, the first thing the mind conjures is his 'professional' foul on Paul Allen when he was clean through in the 1980 cup final.

Saw Mike Joyce just last Thursday doing a Q&A and book signing and a mate told me Mani was gonna do a similar thing next year.
This is awful, even more so after he lost his wife just a couple of years ago.
RIP, Mani.

Magic times!!
Agreed still sounds fresh today, hooded tops, baggy flares and kicker boots!!I can still remember the first time I heard that bass line on the intro, in a bar with a massive sound system.
The hairs on my neck just stuck up.
You have to remember how young they all were, when they made that first album, they were just kids, it`s one of the all time great debut albums.
