True then. Very sad when someone takes their own life.

Gutted. I was just leaving school when the prodigy broke into the music scene so they very much feel like a group that belonged to my generation. For me this is up there with Kurt Cobains untimely death.

I was never a fan of The Prodigy but feel sad that someone of this age feels that they can no longer cope with life and has to end it all. I know how his family, friends and huge fan following must be feeling right now. So sad. RIP. :emoji_frowning2:

All too common yet funding for mental health is being cut all over the place.

Given the apparently tragic circumstances of his death maybe, but I think he's got perfect funeral entrance and exit music in Breathe and Firestarter.

I remember Out of Space being on one of my first Now cassettes and my sister thought #pay close attention# was #hey close the kitchen# so I did a Buzzcocks-esque misheard lyrics type thing and rewrote the song to be about a restaurant failing a health inspection.

#We sent out health inspectors#
#They found bacteria# x2

#You've gone and failed your hygiene inspection#
#Cos you're foods got contamination#
#And you've got a rat infestation#

#Hey close the kitchen#

Involved in yoof TV back in the day and I think she was romantically involved with one of Sigue Sigue Sputnik who I started a thread about on here a few weeks ago H.
Wasn't very famous but I think a few of a certain age with an interest in less mainstream TV and music may remember her.

Ehud Arye Laniado, the billionaire diamond trader has died after complications during an operation.

Just shows that however much money you have a 'small' problem can cause your death.....

Nah. The 2nd photo was from when he made a cameo appearance in the Walking Dead. He told the producers he wouldn't need to bother the make up department!

Sad one for Father Ted fans, Pat Laffan has died. He played Pat Mustard and was responsible for a LOT of hairy babies on the island.
