Just heard.

A true great. What an actor and what a portfolio.

Always impressed me in everything he did. First came to my attention in 10 Rillington Place with Richard Attenborough.

Will be sadly missed from our screens.

Yeah, what a legend. Just read his obituary on the Guardian, what an interesting life he had and an amazing career across stage and screen. RIP.

True, a lot of the actors we consider greats have a voice that grabs your attention. Richard Burton being a case in point.
