We have a 5 year plan so we’ve bought players to develop into league leading players.

Tactically, there are gaps and you have to consider the bigger picture. We’ve got more goal scorers and added 4-5 (maybe more) talented players that should net us £15+ million each.

Compare that to Kasey Palmer being our only summer signing in 2022/23 and it’s chalk and cheese.

If you treat this season as a foundational season, it’s been an unbelievable turnaround in players. There’s obviously improvements to be made and agree that we haven’t adequately replaced Hamer. Desperately scrambling in the transfer markets leads to expensive blunders, we’ve got time to identify the right players.

At that stage Dasilva and Latibeaudiere did look the two best signings.

The most annoying thing about Lati is that still nobody has sung my song to him and he'd have been player of the season with that banger.

Also need a new one for Ellis next season because his current one fits perfectly for Ephron.
