Seems he plays both then because I know for a fact that he was a midfilder for Chelsea and on loan at Oxford. He also played for Sheff Utd in midfield mostly.

Daniel, the son of journeyman striker Tony Philliskirk, joined Chelsea in 2007 from Oldham Athletic in a deal which could eventually be worth up to £2m for the Latics.
