It's not rocket science, they have performed well and been involved in play off or promotion at every club they have managed. The main reason I want out of this league, apart from the obvious boost a promotion would be, is to get away from this shite football. Every other week we play a team that is happy to have the ball in play for 20 minutes of the game, feign injury constantly and do every little thing they can to cheapen the game. I'd fucking hate it if we were like that. The FA will do fuck all about though obviously as they have to work out if Harry Kane scored a goal or not. They should invest some of that Wembley money into refereeing courses as the ones they have now don't have the slightest inclination into how to manage a game.
