Not clueless, just a boy in a man's league. Far worse than Bayliss out there tonight.

one thing is abundantly clear, whether we go up or whether we don't, we need more steel and more streetwise players.

I thought Robins was bang on, far too many weak individuals out there tonight.

This streetwise thing is bollocks. It's part of having a game plan.

You can be 18 and be "streetwise".

You see 15 year olds playing against blokes in Sunday League who have more of a clue.

and we don't have it. We see it in opponents all the time but it just isn't there with us.

Why aren't the players being told to do it?

We can't even take quick throw ins, every throw in has to be the Right Back or Left Back. Are they fined if others take them?

We have no gameplan, if the 11 players go out and they can figure something out and win then it works. There is no plan that we try to work to over and over again.

I've never seen a team fuck about so much at throw ins. I said in another post, if you want to run the clock down against us just put the ball out for our throw in.
Our set pieces are an absolute joke.

You can tell the players until you’re blue in the face, but these players are thick and have no footballing brain. Some of them should not be professional players, we are 2 goals down and playing with NO urgency at all. Haynes cannot take a throw in and stands for 20 seconds while players are running towards him, he is not told to do that I guarantee he is just so fucking thick

It's because they have to go to Haynes, if a striker gets the ball they have to give it to him. Rather than take it quick and catch them off guard.

Slows the game down.

Another fun one is the throw it to JCH / Biamou to flick on, but nobody stood behind them so even if they win it their defender gets it.

Basic shit that should have been pointed out months ago and cut out.

The throw in thing is a fucking joke. It might seem like a strange thing to get fixated on but it just perfectly epitomizes a gaping obvious SIMPLE aspect of the game that Robins has had ample opportunities to sort out. Any players he sees running away from the thrower need pulling in and show the video then screamed at that if if they are ever seeing cowering away from the ball again they'll be subbed. My manager used to pull us up on stuff like that in sunday league, have a go, then it didn't happen again. What's more alarming, that he cannot see it, or that he see's it and has said something and they've all fucking ignored him?

I can't tell you how angry it makes me

So why don't other players start taking them? Shipley could get the ball and take it quickly?

Why hasn't Robins picked up on it months ago?

Before Biamou came Reid was warming up as if it was the final few minutes before he was coming on but he sat down and never re appeared baffling!

We were running out of steam so were they, through the middle nothing was happening out wide we looked slightly more of a threat, it needed an injection of pace to mix it up.

And just to be clear I'm not absolving that ginger prick from any blame, he needs to just fucking shout for an option or throw it longer or something instead of just being a mong and looking side to side. Christ

Yep, his subs are always very weird.

He was probably waiting for a 5th to throw Reid on.

It’d be safer when we get a throw to foul throw and let the oppo take it and we can get ready defensively as we lose it anyway and put ourselves under pressure after 45 seconds of waiting for it to be taken!

it took biamou 2 minutes to get into position for one throw just after he came on and he seemed unaware of where he should be. Makes you wonder if they work on them in training.

It's so agonizingly simple it would seem. If it's Haynes being a retard, let whatever poor sod you're shoehorning into left/right mid at the time take them. If it's the players being pussys which i think it is moreso, you pull them in and show them and tell them you don't want to fucking see it again it's embarrassing!

Yeah I felt for Haynes as nobody was showing for him and when they did it was the same run everytime, Haynes throws to them and they play a hospital ball back to him which he has to try and lump first time despite it coming back at all heights and angles making him look more of a fool!

Tonight Bayliss made at least two runs into space ahead of him when Haynes was taking throw-ins, but he takes so long to decide, Bayliss was quickly closed down and marked.

Our corners are a shambles too.

Reminds me of Ryan Kent on the ball. Everyone gets all excited because he beat a few men, but I'm sat down knowing that any minute the ball is getting fucked back to the opposition without a whimper.

I don't even get excited at a corner anymore.

Highlighted particular errors by Grimmer and Willis.

He stressed they will be reinforcements come the summer, so basically telling the players there is still time to lose their positions and need to work harder!

He didn’t see the Biamou penalty challenge but highlighted there was still lots to do before Lincoln took control and grabbed their goal after it

Said the first goal was a great finish but Rhead shouldn’t have been allowed the chance to get the shot away

Not heard an interview from a manager like it since the days of warrior Presley and Slade.

Regardless if we win the next two games it the play offs some of these spineless bastards have to be shown the door.

McDonald and Haynes were a disgrace to the sky blue shirt in that first half. Fuck off the pair of you and free up the shirts with players who have a heart.

I'd like to think that the fact we have the play offs and a potential promotion to play for would make sure they listen to what he says and take it on board. Maybe I'm being naive.

Ref clearly felt Biamou dived, because he yellow carded him for it.

I'm not so sure and would need to see it again.

He's going to change it I'm sure.

Would not be at all surprised to see Willis and Rod dropped and Davies and Hyam in. Think Haynes may well be dropped too and I would expect Reid in on the left.

Think there may be 5 or 6 changes on Saturday easily.

That didn’t work at Notts Co after the Yeovil defeat. I don’t think there is a need to panic. We still need at maximum 4 points. Provided they turn up on Saturday we should be good enough for at least a point. Total over reaction on here.

Do you fancy going into the Morecambe game needing to win by a certain amount of goals?

Once you're a goal down and chasing the game you struggle to double mark players and try and get back into the game.
