this is spot on. There was a game earlier this season where he was swearing under his breath about his headphone connection and missed a dangerous attack.

Clive and Rob were the dream team.

I agree I miss Clive. It’s a shame after all the years he covered us, he never quite got to see us return to the Premier League.

That said, Clive did get a fairly magical final 7 seasons and got to commentate at Wembley 4 times and appear on the big screen next to Oggy.

Knowing Clive he’s probably covering the cricket somewhere and still flooring the BBC CWR Ford Fiesta down the M6.
