We only just beat Wednesday on both games. They had loads of chances and both results could have been very different.

No chance. Personally think it would be nearly as much chance of us losing to them as Maidstone beating Ipswich. They're absolutely diabolical away from home.

Are they signing a new side for the replay?

Potentially 7 matches in February and potentially more FA cup matches to come. I wonder whether this will make us think again about letting fringe players go. We are going to need plenty of players.

Wouldn't want to play Mount Nod. I'm still angry about their referee they provided who was totally biased against Stoke Heath cup game back in 1974.
He was an absolute disgrace.

Not as bad as the Annie Osborne ref, their own teacher Mr Chima cheating git when I played with Ernesford Primary in 82

We have a strong squad and 1+2 to come in

Players that can be used for rotation include

Wilson
Da Silva
Lati
Bink's
Torp
Allen
Palmer
Godden/Simms

That's 8 and we wouldn't wanna make that many changes in one game anyway really.

We can handle this month

That delayed cup draw cus of the crowd trouble at The Hawthornes has maybe changed the whole draw. We now have a great chance of a 1/4 final place

This is the stuff that gets on my nerves. “Completed it”. Nah you fluked (understatement) your way past an under strength team.

It’s almost as bad as when Wrexham fans thought they’d do well in the championship when they beat us.

Let them have their moment. They deserve it. But two 'giant killings' is very rare. More chance of winning the lottery.

Need two in really.

GK: Collins/Wilson/Moore - Fine
RB: MvE/Lats/Eccles/Saka - Fine
LB: Bidwell/Dasilva/Saka - Fine
CB: Thomas/Kitching/Fadz/Lats/Binks - Fine
CM: Eccles/Sheaf/Torp/Allen/Lats - Fine
AM: O’Hare/Palmer/Allen/Saka - Fine
LW: Wright/Palmer/Saka/O’Hare - Need options here as basically the same backups as AM
RW: Saka/Simms/Wright/Palmer/O’Hare - As above
ST: Simms/Godden/Wright/Palmer - As above

Need either a ST and a wide player or two wide players and Simms or Wright to come good at ST.

2 wingers or 1 winger 1 striker and we're sorted

Could get by with one winger if Simms and godden sort themselves out.

Yesterday on the the FA Cup replay thread I said I hoped we would draw Maidstone for the next round and strangely it worked out. A few weeks ago, I said prior to the Leicester game that I had a feeling it would be like the Fulham match we had a couple seasons ago. Strangely enough Leicester took the lead and we know how it ended. Just hope these great vibes I’m getting last till the end of the season. I’m not usually a believer in superstitions, but I just have a funny feeling the stars are aligning and we could really have a very special season ahead of us. Fingers crossed!!

Tough draw for us. Don’t know much about Maidstone other than the Ipswich result, and given that xG is obviously bullshit you have to assume they’re one of the strongest sides in the Championship.

I’ll have you know he never cheated !! Just never knew the rules! Great draw, winning is a habit so let’s go all out for the quarters - two winnable home games to get there.

I’m not sure we’ll ever see a Robins team play a ridiculously high line as Ipswich did yesterday.

We'll scrape through against Wednesday and then smash Maidstone 4-0.
The world will then sit up and notice little old Coventry City .

Well they will have to reschedule if we have a game on.

The most famous club competition in the world has to take precedence over an aging boy band, surely

Its a nice change not to see the usual 'shit draw' comments. I imagine there's plenty from Maidstone thinking that though!

Assuming we beat Wednesday, don't think we could have had a better chance to progress. Will have poached, fried and scrambled egg on our faces if we were to muck that up.
