Such a great draw for us. Lots of attention and should be an easy result. Surely they can’t do it again? Has a sixth tier team ever reached the quarterfinals? I’m immediately worried about the replay now, suddenly a lot more riding on it.

Good novelty tie if we win the replay. Make it £15 to get the numbers in.

Absolutely nothing guaranteed against Wednesday but I'd hope playing on an actual football pitch means we'll beat them

We’ve only beat Oxford at home and people are talking about Wembley

Friday people were saying it’s was right to rest players and play a weakened team as we can’t win it now they want a full strength team out

I don't wanna get carried away but this ain't just about getting a big money tie in the quarters.

With another home draw Vs a championship team or below and we would actually be favoured to make it to semis. If big teams take each other out along the way who knows what we could achieve....

He almost sounded angry after the game Friday saying we would be having a “right go” in the replay.
Massive incentive now too.

Let's not assume we've got an easy path to the QFs. If Sheff Weds will go down this season, they'll also be looking at this as a decent route to the QFs and salvaging something from the season. Will be tougher than expected.

Hmm not sure about this, great chance to reach an fa Cup quarter final but do we really want the distraction and extra games when going for the play offs which are more important.

That said, we're defo giving the FA and the EFL a headache by getting to both the FA Cup Final AND the Play Off Final.

Yesterday on the the FA Cup replay thread I said I hoped we would draw Maidstone for the next round and strangely it worked out. A few weeks ago, I said prior to the Leicester game that I had a feeling it would be like the Fulham match we had a couple seasons ago. Strangely enough Leicester took the lead and we know how it ended. Just hope these great vibes I’m getting last till the end of the season. I’m not usually a believer in superstitions, but I just have a funny feeling the stars are aligning and we could really have a very special season ahead of us. Fingers crossed!!

It’s not, credit to Maidstone for getting the 5th round but they’ve used their luck up against Ipswich. It should be a routine win for us.

I’m glad it’s a home tie for both teams.

I’m as bored hearing about that Sutton upset as I am about the older generation clinging onto a cup win that happened nearly 40 years ago…

Very rare a club like ours gets the chance to get to the quarter finals anymore .. hence the earlier round pessimism

At least Simms will get a chance to score against Maidstone as he’ll be playing a team on his level.
