They are going to need a lot from Yates this year.Over 1000 runs in Championship last season which covered middle order weakness.

Wicket looked a bit interesting 1st thingSome high class pace bowling day 1 of Australia-India Test.
Not sure this tweet got the response they were hoping for
One worth waiting for
Apparently new Bear Latham dropped three of them!Lucky NZ can't catch - would have been an ugly day if they could.
That will be fine that Bears bowling attack won’t get many edges anyway.Apparently new Bear Latham dropped three of them!
Yup. I've stopped getting annoyed by it tbh and just accepted that's how he's (and they're) going to bat.I don’t get the way Brook has batted he could play straight and sensible and still be there and on around the same score.
Yep. Root's another one at times that has left simple runs out there if he'd batted normally.I don’t get the way Brook has batted he could play straight and sensible and still be there and on around the same score.
The timings of things seem to be all over the place let Benjamin a keeper go and then Burgess retires and then this guy who should be busy looking for new players goes.So it seems a few months after an external review was launched into Warwickshires poor performances in recent seasons the performance director has left for personal reasons. Getting out before he's pushed?
Although I've learnt on here in the past few weeks that a performance director, good or bad, has zero impact on performance and can't be blamed for anything
whole thing's unbalanced on the recruitment side. Don't see any sort of balanced strategy (or even interest) for any form other than the T20 squad - maybe that's just a financial decision invest in those elements that produce the highest returns. The timings of things seem to be all over the place let Benjamin a keeper go and then Burgess retires and then this guy who should be busy looking for new players goes.
Can't help thinking ECB just didn't want to do it or finance it themselves so just shifted it back to the counties.Something is very wrong at the club. The women’s side sums it up for me. ECB have made a big deal about rebranding as counties but we seem to have let all our best players leave and replaced them with inexperienced youngsters.
Going to do well to not be hammered every game which won’t do much to attract fans.
Keeping those players can’t take a lot of time or money but there seems to be zero interest from those in charge in the cricketing side of things.
