Fair enough, but, I paid £195 for my ST (got it day before Sheff U league game), whereas you have paid £20 for a membership, on that, who deserves priority to the big games!? Clubs, especially smaller clubs, have to reward their ST holder's loyalty to get them to renew.

Also, I'd guarantee that the majority of the attendees to all of our cup games were ST holders, so of course, ST holders deserve priority.

To say it's bullshit we get priority is insulting!

Why did you get a membership instead of a ST?

I'm not a season ticket holder as I can't attend certain games due to work.

I would have liked to have gone to Crewe away, but I think its only fair that season ticket holders get priority.

We all know the situation at the start of the season.

Exactly, had it been Bradford we're plAying we would've got about 4k+ but we got Crewe so it's a case of smaller ground, smaller allocation so the lug has to prioritise some fans over others...

Okay fair enough bullshits a bit out of order just heat of moment and gutted if I don't get a ticket, I got membership because I have a job that requires me to work saturdays so I can't go to every game, I would if I could work sundays only though!!! And also because membership means I'm higher in priority order than general sale for games like this incase there not all gone, anywho I'm sure there will be people selling them once they've bought the tickets so always hope,

Ok fair enough, I suspected work, membership is ideal if you live away, at uni, or have a job where you work Saturdays. Or if the individual just can't be arsed with a ST, always felt a membership is for teams where you struggle to get tickets e.g. Spurs, Man U, Arsenal, Liverpool etc.

Because I'm a part-timer, I work my hours around CCFC games, although I need to get a list saying when I can't work (or what hours I can work) because they do take the piss and put me on when they wouldn't!

Course they've got to go to season ticket holders first, can you imagine the uproar if they did it any differently?! I have no problem with someone with 8 season tickets buying that amount of tickets unless they were planning to sell them on. If a groups forked out that much money at the start of the season then they deserve them.

I'm not in Coventry at the moment so was planning to ring up tomorrow. Does anyone know what time the ticket office opens tomorrow for phone sales? I'm guessing it's 9, but I'll be on my mobile so don't want to be sat on hold for an age.

People seem confident of getting tickets tomorrow, can only assume they are getting there stupidly early. It will be a right scrum for tickets tomorrow, trust me, people in sleeping bags and hordes sat at their PC in their pants hitting the refresh button at 9am tomorrow.

They should have done it by how many away games uv been to! Currently I am on 10, I others that have been to more or even every one! I won't be able to get a ticket as the ticket system doesn't work at work (bloody Internet explorer5)! I'll be amazed if I can get a ticket!

Can be bought online. You'll need to register first though.

But there are so many potential flaws with that. I appreciate how much money and time you've spent on away games but ticket stubs aside there's no proof. I've been to 6 or 7 this season but I've only got my ones from Oldham and MK Dons. The club have got to look after their own customers first, away ticket money goes to the other clubs. They'd be slaughtered if they did it any other way.

Not strictly true. We used to have an away stamps system, it ran for years but stopped about 5 seasons ago, and to qualify for a stamp you had to first to be a ST holder. First few years you had a little book they physically stamped but later on it was all computerised. Obviously, if you turned up somewhere and paid on the gate then that was not recorded so tough. I always made sure that I bought in advance where I could so I always had enough stamps to get priority for any game, not that it would be required often.

Lot's of clubs have away priority based on the number of away games attended, it is the fairest way, but obviously we don't do it anymore so nothing you can do about it.

Just had a text from someone who is getting there at 4am tomorrow. I'm not sure I have that sort of stamina.

ferrets idea would be the best way, don't know why the club stopped the away card stamp, it seemed to work well enough, I assume it was purely down to lack of demand at the time and an admin cost cutting isue.

So the first day would be for people with say 10 stamps, second day for 5 stamps, 3rd day onwards other ST holders.

Don't know if this is still the case but Leicester used to have different coloured season tickets based on how many away games you did the previous season, e.g. blue 15+, white 10-15, yellow 5-10, red 5 or less. So the first day the tickets went on sale only blue holders could buy them, then on day 2 they are opened up to white holders and so on. Always thought this was a really good system.

Yeah I remember that, I was just referring to current times. In theory there are ways, but I doubt it would have been worth the hassle over the past few seasons. Maybe they'll have learnt from this season, I'm guessing that with a season ticket database it is fairly simple to add notes detailing away tickets that have been purchased. But then again we might not need it for another 5 years!

Yes, it's about demand obviously. There is perhaps a case of reintroducing it again. This is the third time this season where demand has outstripped supply (Yeovil, Spurs & Crewe) and it might happen again at Walsall on Easter Monday and Notts County last game if we're still in the mix. Tomorrow they'll be people spending hours sitting in snow to secure a ticket, and there's no need for it to happen anymore really.

Why don't they just book online ? I can't get there tonight or tomorrow but sure as hell online at 9am tomorrow morning to book. I'm a season ticket holder, been to all but 5 away games and all JPT games, not that I need to justify myself.

anyone queing should really also have a family member trying the internet for them too, just queing seems nuts in this day and age you could easily be beaten by people online. Even better if you can do it yourself from the que using a smart phone.

How do online orders work? As it is only 1 per ST holder or member, you wouldn't be able to order for 2 on one account would you?

If you know the other season ticket holders supporters number and postcode you can add them to your "family and friends" on the ticketing website. It'll allow you to buy 1 ticket for the game per ST holder registered against your F&F.

Does that make sense? It's really easy to set up.

Ive supported the City for nearly 50 yrs and seen some shit through out those years so I think I deserve a ticket too ...... But hold on ST Holders deserve it more tho as they put their money up front before any of these games were drawn

It's not about 'deserving' a ticket. It's about, I've got a season ticket so will smugly get my ticket before people without a season ticket.

Been awake since 6am checking the CCFC site. I know for the Spurs game they were selling tickets from 6am!

The site says 9am. Just hoping the site doesn't crash.

Will be so happy if I can get a ticket.

Oh and if we get to Wembley we should get a ticket. Sheff United were allocated nearly 40,000 tickets when they got to Wembley.
