They have won 6 of the last 8 games at home, now I don't feel so confident as I have been all week. How does everybody else feel ?

I feel that on our day we are a better side, but they will try and bully us and intimidate us and knock us off our game. I expect a very high tempo from them, with us not being allowed to settle.

I think we need to go toe to toe with them as best we can and get stuck in and not let them harrass us.

Personally, I think we will get beaten, but will be safe due to Notts County or Crewe slipping up.

What I am hoping though is that TM will have a rabbit up his sleeve (or in his hat) and he will pick a side that might well flummox Crawley and catch them napping.

Notts C won 5 in last 29 matches

Crewe won 2 out their last 9 at home

I would say I feel rather better now.

And we are unbeaten in 6 of our last 8 away from home - means nothing

You can make stats read how you want them to read - Form and stats go out of the window its all down to who wants it more and lady luck on the day

We've also not conceeded a goal away from home in our last 4 matches. Got 0-0 written allover it which would do for us.

But won't Webster be back in the defence so not conceding in our last 4 matches away from home becomes irrelevant sadly ... it's almost inevitable he'll make one mistake !

Another Crawley fact;

Nuneaton Town have thrown a spoke in Coventry City’s survival wheel by making sure that Crawley Town midfielder Lee Fowler can play in Sunday’s relegation dogfight at the Broadfield stadium.

Fowler, who launched his career as a Sky Blues apprentice, joined the Red Devils on loan from Boro in August after Dean Saunders, his manager during a spell at Wrexham, was drafted in as an interim replacement for the ailing John Gregory.

That arrangement was due to end this week but, Fowler revealed: “I have had to sign for Nuneaton again and extend the loan so I can play in this game.

“To be fair to Nuneaton it was them who rang the FA and asked them for permission because I was due to go back. I am over the moon I am able to play in this game.”

Crawley need to win the game while a draw would keep Coventry safe but 31-year-old Fowler, who has played for a dozen clubs since leaving City in 2003, reckons the home team have the edge.

“I don’t think they are as well organised as us,” he said. “We have a game-plan which was shown against Swindon away."

The Boro really don't like us much do they!

Yep. I like it when the opposition try and brag some sort of superiority.

Good motivational tool for us, that.

Talking of motivational tools, what's Andy Thorn up to these days? ;)

I can almost picture the Nuneaton Town secretary on Sunday afternoon - sat in a large swivel chair, stroking a white cat sat upon his lap.

Fowler will enjoy being tormented by Ward and Fleck and O Brien playing keep ball ( for three passes)

Thorn is currently scouting for Jim Bean in the outback looking rather red faced, says its too much sun though.

Ready to press the button on his desktop tannoy, to call out in his evil, villainous voice, 'Kill them kill them all!'

It would be a shame if the Nuneaton Secretary fucked up and turns out Fowler was illegible

So what happens if Fowler scores a free kick to send us down in the 89th..

We move to Nuneaton, take over Liberty Way, call it HR2 and boot them out to play park football in a Sunday league no-one has even ever heard of.

Cue a thousand posts on 'Ten reasons why we should never have let Lee Fowler go'. And then make it our close season mission to cull every white cat in the Nuneaton area. If any poodle/bijon friese should be caught up in the frenzy then so be it.

Have you seen Lee Fowler of late? If we can't at least draw with this lot we deserve to go down.

I watched Fowler a couple of times for Nuneaton and he was very poor. I also refused to believe he was a player when I saw him due to his size
