I'm not sure how the apologists on here will take that one.

Have we played well yet since Robins took over? I mean genuinely well for more than 45 minutes?

At least the quality loanees he brought in are doing well...

MR has picked up a basket case of a team. The damage was done over the summer, when sisu okayed the purchase of a bunch of deadbeats for a manager they had no real confidence in.
The buck stops with sisu, 5 years, shite league position, shite team, crowds under 10k.

Agreed. No point blaming robins. He inherited a terrible team.

Last 15 mins their keeper had to make 3 or 4 good saves. If only we kept up this sort of tempo early on in the 2nd half. Dissapointing result in the end.

We deserved to lose, but it doesn't mean mark robins is doing a terrible job, he getting points with a pretty poor squad.for me he is doing as good a job as expected

No actually today the ref can be blamed. So many clear infractions that should have gone our way were given to Scunthorpe. They may have played better than us but no way should city have come away from that as losers!

Leon Clarkes goal (Our player was fouled and the ref allowed play to continue instead of stopping it and sorting out the Scunthorpe player that did it!)

The penalty was not a penalty. Clarke fouled Wood yet Wood gets a yellow and Clarke gets the penalty.

And several other incidents!

Not to mention Scunthorpe constantly time wasting (their Goalie was one of the culprits, holding onto the ball for more than 6 seconds) and players walking off when being substituted at the speed of a snail while waving to their fans.

Yes we didn't play great but its about time people started realising its not going to be pretty. This league is not about pretty footballer. Its about hard grit and at times, very ugly footballer and today it was ugly...very very ugly!

Jumping on the "oh got this team is shit" train shows only one thing...you cannot stick it out and you cannot see the positives that are so clearly in front of you!

19 points blown from in front. If all we knew how to do was hold onto a lead we'd be flipping top!

My health prevented me from attending today ,and probaly saved my life ,Potentialy heart attack, wrist slashing or the death penalty for what i'd have done to the ref.

Horrible second half! Murphy flapped at too much, Baker poor apart from the goal, McDonald ineffective, Wood not himself (at fault for second imo trying to play offside and running the wrong way), although Clarke (i think it was) conceded possession too easily.

Not sure why it took us until injury time to get involved in the second half.

How ref didnt give Christie pen i dont know! And there was no point in looking to the lino to speak up as he had just as much a shite game as the ref did

Abysmal performance. It was a pen thanks to wood the bumbling idiot. Edge worst player on pitch followed by Clarke. No movement on or off ball. Baker only good performance. Can't string 2 passes together we can't. Can only hope its a blip and we look solid again on Saturday vs hpool
