Yeah, same here.

When you lose to a really bad backpass, it doesn't matter how well you played. We gifted them a goal.

It's not over though. Sunderland surely won't play like that again on Tuesday.

Wright needs to be dropped. Why didn’t he hit that cross in the second half first time, trying to control it in the 6 yard box

A chance to sign his own players and let’s not forget they came in and implemented a system that delivered a 50% win percentage for FL since taking over - it seems your calls to sack him after 10 games were a bit premature.

What our fans are failing to realise is that every single time frank lampard has the chance to take ellis our of the team he does so , this isnt the first time .

He talked about asante not being fully fit and then he brings him on and has a good 30 against boro and ellis is dropped again .

Feel like he'll try and flog Simms in the summer. Can actually see quite a lot of movement up front in the summer. Would make a change to see movement up front.

Don't get the criticism of Thomas-Asante. He wasn't given the ball enough, despite making some excellent runs. He was a pest for them and they got lucky with the way the ball dropped at times. He set up a great chance for Sheaf. He did more than Simms has managed recently and gave far more to the cause than Wright who didn't challenge for anything and might aa well not be on the pitch.

They will not play like that at home we are still in it and will play in to our hands Tuesday we only need one goal and their fans will go into meltdown

Its a big ask to go up there now and get a result, but you never know.

MVE was inconsolable at the end. Could be done mentally or could be the thing that causes a reaction to go and deliver the result of the season.

Either way fair play to Sunderland they got the plan spot on and deserved the result.

It should spurr him and the rest of the team on to get at the time wasting horrible wankers.

I wanna see aggression, fight, spirit, and I want us to fucking go at them and if we lose, then we lose trying and proud.

The players aren’t the issue the tactics are. We can change them whenever.

Tough to watch tonight. Surprisingly I feel bright about the return leg. Gameplay Sunderland were very poor offensively (strong defensive). I felt that we were a touch slow in build up, there were a number of times BTA and Rudoni had promising runs in behind but we played safe passes. Listen we’ve got nothing to lose, we can go all out at Sunderland and the SBA will bring it! Overall we were the better team and silly mistake makes it a loss, we will turn this around! Let’s not forget Frank with Derby lost 1-0 at home to Leeds in his last play off and an 4-2 away at Elland road! I truly believe we will beat Sunderland at SoL.

Not saying he didn't, but all season our defenders and midfielders have had many howlers, I don't think I've seen a. Team concede so many goals from single player errors this season, can think of 10 of the top of my head.

Thought performance was ok, but as a team we need a bit more quality to unlock teams who sit deep and give up possession. .

Sunderland are not the 1st team or will be the last to do that to us. If we don't overcome the result on Tuesday FL will know what he has to do to make the improvements needed for next season. Not what most will want to hear but we have had a good season just came up a little short.

They definitely will because it worked even without a lead to defend. If we somehow go ahead on aggregate only then will they change it up.

Don't show that, they will claim he's onside even though they shown it on local TV here with lines and he's offside but no one wants to see it and let's be honest it don't make any difference now anyway.

Because that's how far he's offside , not going to randomly put it on his chest are you? Have you not seen a single var this season?

So glad some of the people on here don’t play for us, some right bottle jobs. There’s 90 minutes of football left and we have to score a couple of goals against a team whose midfield this evening looked like ghosts. Chill!

They won and calling their midfield ghosts doesn't make sense. They executed their game plan well and won. We were the ghosts as we didn't show up. Hope we come to life in the second leg.
