A point was a good result at the end. Preston came out to play and deserved all three points but we could have nicked it at the end with Stephen Elliot's free header! Still, keeps the unbeaten run going with just 1 defeat in 12 games.

Conditions are a bit of a leveller, but it's still disappointing to drop more home points. Those looking over their shoulder will be happy with that result. We were very lucky. Travesty if we scored at the end. Mcgoldrick never got in the game, Christie was really poor as was moussa. Barton should have been withdrawn far earlier. He was non existent in the second half.

Just underlines where we need to go to be a serious contender for a challenge on the top slots. This squad is good enough if left alone to win more than it doesn't add two, just two decent players to this squad and we can seriously challenge. A partner for a retained McGoldrick plus one other would do it.

You aren't going to play well every week and PNE are a well drilled side. Takes the points thrown away tally to 23 but today I'm not too fussed-chiefly because last week's result softens it this week.
Can someone clarify.. I wasn't at Doncaster last week... although the side today was the same.. did we set up the same at Donny...i.e Moose on the right and Barton playing in the centre alongside(just behind) Goaldie?
Baker was nearly wrestled to ground at the end. IMO it was a penalty but he stayed on his feet and got a shot in. I thought the Ref started off ok but then lost it as the game went on.
