I think Oggy's second choice clipboard could do better.

Poor corner from Vale, Reid tries I hold it for a longer than necessary period before eventually finding Beavon, and his eventual pass is played to George who is just offside

Bigi shoots a grass cutter after Reid runs on the wing again

Not sure I like this Reid! He's looking to go forward at every opportunity

So why can't Oggy dash Burge off the floor like he dashes that clipboard...perhaps a minor head injury might improve Burge's performance.

Why are there so many police and security today? Significantly more than the average game, especially for what is a poor crowd.

Protests expected?

Yeah, maybe it's like when someone gets a head injury and picks up a new accent. Burge could miraculously turn into a below average player. Chuck stuff at him quick.

So he'd pick up a south African accent or something, and attain a pub team player level to boot...get the large cabbages and thermoses on standby.

I'm not surprised they're from Stoke which is like a mixture of Aleppo and Victorian east end.

Here's another positive (for the context of our season):

Nathan Clarke has successfully completed passes to another Coventry player at least twice. To clarify, he didn't just aimlessly hoof the ball.

Number 9 looks like they're only useful player so far

Don't like us being on top when the scores 0-0 though.

As much as Pep Guardiola is overhyped, the one thing you have to say is that he wants his teams to attack mercilessly. Perhaps that's the model we should work towards. Defenders in L1 and L2 are generally poor, so the 'we'll score one more than you' rule may be successful (not with our current forward players, though!)
