Literally can't remember being this excited about a game since the 90s. Come on City!

My prediction is 1-1 followed by an away win inthe 2nd leg.

Who would of thought the trophy that fans spat at when they realised they were in it was now a cause for such excitement.

I'd rather us win on Saturday, but a trip to Wembley could be good practice for the play off final ( plus a great day out for the fans)

The fans could be so important tonight.
Lets get everyone behind the team, win, lose or draw.
No moaning, no booing.
Complain at every decision that goes against us.
Cheer everything that goes for us.
We need to be intimidating.
Come on boys!!!

the trouble will be most of the fans going will expect us to walk allover crewe and win easy because they probable think we have a premiership team.if we go a goal down they will be moaning but i hope not.30000 fans singing city songs would be amazing

That's my only real concern. Hopefully we don't give them the opportunity!

I've been at work since 8:30am but not been able to get anything done due to sheer excitement and anticipation for tonight - I wanna go to the ground now! Anyone else feel the same?

Tonight, although it isn't a League game, it could be Make or Break for the rest of the season. A win is vital and would give us a colossal boost for the season.

I can see us drawing though.

Not disastrous, but would be a shame in front of 30,000+ not to snatch at the chance to gain a few more week-in week-out supporters.

Everyone should calm down, its likely to be a drab game with Crewe winning 0-1 { a 10th minute disputed penalty}, the crowd being on the teams back from the 15th minute having endured horrific queues to get in with all the 'plastics' not sure how the bar coding works at the turnstiles. The parking before will be ridiculous and getting away even worse. The bus links will implode and the kiosks will have run out of steak and kidney pies by 7.40 pm. ACL will have closed off 50% of the toilets to prevent a 'Spurs'. The casino as of late will only open the one bar and the roulette machines will be particularly cruel to unsuspecting punters............oh and its going to feel like -4 in the arctic blasts !!!

Fecking hope not though !!!

If we lose, then I imagine we'll be back to the sub-10K crowds again on Saturday.

We've seen it so many times before, haven't we? Big crowd. Expectation. Only for us to mess it up. Tonight, I don't get that feeling. We have a different manager and a team who seem to want to play football for Coventry City. The door to a Wembley appearance is ajar. The players will respond and relish the opportunity I think. I hope.

There could be a lot of negative threads started tonight and if so more likely about the fans than the players.

I think after a scrappy first half 3 - 1 to city.

Just a quick one guys, what is the weather like in Cov at the moment? I'm in Sheffield at the moment and it's pissing down with snow. Assume it's not as bad down there?

I think we'll win this leg 2-0.

Surely the crowd is going to have a major influence on the players...I just hope some players don't try and be too clever, trying to impress the whole stadium. Keep it simple & get the job done!
