Will he be putting him at Right Back do we think?

Where has it been confirmed?

I think Jim will remain captain as he will be certain to start all games. I can't see Ricketts starting every week.

According to my Wolves mate any where along the back but left and centre being his best positions. Can score a screamer of a goal from time to time to as well apparently.

If AFC is right and we have signed him he could be the difference this season.

Not meaning to be negative but the difference between what? We will need a bit more than Ricketts to make any difference at all.

Even if it's not his natural position I'd much rather Ricketts in the centre than Aaron Martin

That's because posters on here are unsure.

Nothing on local radio news and nothing on the CCFC web site. AFC = All. Fkn. Conjecture.

What's the point in posting this without any link to a source or at least mentioning where you've got this from?? So annoying

Is this one of those things where if it happens you come back and say 'told you, wink wink'?

Why is it that when people post rumours like this they just disappear for ages afterwards?

Think people need to chill a bit with the name calling. If the OP has seen this somewhere and wanted to post here first fair enough.

This is exactly why I made sure I put Rumour in the title of my thread yesterday, you'd think the bloke had just collectively insulted everyone's Mothers not put what he thinks to be true on an Internet forum.

Bit silly if this is BS though

Re-watched the Play-Off Final and Ricketts doesn't exactly cover himself in glory when he replaces Nathan Thompson at centre half at 1-0. Rather he plays fullback.

Will be a very good signing for league one, no nonsense, level headed, experienced and can defend. A threat at set pieces too.

Decent pro for the younger ones to look up too, maybe a little harsh to judge him on that performance when his fitness levels were not at their peak, but overall, full back or centre back, he will bring much needed stability and he is a leader.

Don't get me wrong it's a decent signing. Just rather we play him at fullback where he has played the majority of his career.

He is not the best at CB or LB,, he has had a decent career and in his day was useful enough to earn a decent living,, but end of career not going to get better and if anything with end up being compared no matter if you like it or not to Webster... TM has a job on and by now probably see's how hard it is to attract players to the club you either get unproven youngsters or old heads looking for security of a 2 year deal..

TM will use the kids he has or hope to get a Grant type of player when the prem and Championship clubs settle on availability of fringe players..

Maybe because it's a guess and they are sitting back with fingers crossed hoping it comes true?

I've never met such bunch of bleeding sissies in all my life. What is harm in AFC posting this? If he heard something then why not put it up? If you guys has such a bloody boring life that you have to be glued to this site or other to get a fix then that is your problem and not AFC's. I thought people work? Maybe that's an old fashioned concept? Either way why don't you come on here from time to time, read the threads, don't take them as gospel and get on with life.
