£4.99 to collect in store (the same as to be delivered) is a bit mental but nice one as we looked at this last Christmas but couldn’t justify paying £40 for something well realistically only play once!!

I found my France 98 Subbuteo yesterday and my grandstand!

Was hoping it had some value but clearly not

Remember seeing the 1970 World Cup Edition Subbuteo in the window of that sports/model shop in the Precinct with all 16 national team colours.

I think when I got mine a few years earlier the choice was limited to red and blue? At least they were solid figures, the original version featured celluloid cut outs.
