Gladly - with a flying two footer. He's a steam train botherer who's never pinned his home city's colours to the mast. His 'knowledge' of 'his team' is the stuff of face palmism too - Had us down as the longest serving team in the top flight after Arsenal.

I guess thats another reason why we thought Red Bull might show some interest. Imagine if he got involved and we had Ginger Spice singing the Sky Blues Song when the team come out.

The Red Bull chap is a big fan apparently, look at the job they have done for RB Leipzic

The player I most remember from Central News Round-up was Robbie Earle. Not a week went by when I didn’t see his face flashed up having scored another few for port vale. How the hell did he end up at Wimbledon and not us!

Ah he was quality for them. How on earth did a player so blatantly top-flight class get to the age of 26 with 300 games for Port Vale under his belt before somebody took a punt on him?! He'd have been farmed off to Chelsea's dev. squad as a teenager and left to rot nowadays...

Without bothering to check, I’m pretty sure he scored in the World Cup for Jamaica.
I didn’t realise he was that age when he left Port Vale. Him and then Darren Beckford for a while, were awesome.

On that basis, Michaela Strachan's got more lineage to CCFC. Sort of.

She is - She's in South Africa, that's why she hasn't featured on Springwatch, this time round.
Now, if she could make her way to Uganda in time for the proposed flight that would be a major 'coup'.

When we beat Walsall 6 v 1 at their place in 2004 I was invited by Marston's brewery along with some family members because the company I was working for imported Pedigree into Mallorca.
We had a meal before the game also provided by the brewery and Pete Waterman was sat at another table. There was an adjacent table of some City supporters who knew him personally and proceeded to take the piss out of his allegiance to Walsall throughout the meal. His response was to send a note to their table saying something along the lines of "why don't you all just fuck off". His actions didn't really help very much to subdue the banter as can be imagined.
He certainly wasn't a City fan in those days..

Keys is an absolute weapon and I can't believe this blatant attempt at band wagon jumping from Waterman. What a tosser.

He sat behind me from day one at the ricoh until we moved. Nice bloke as is his old man. Used to get a bit much during games with women now and again taking pictures during the match(we had aisle seats).

Alistair McGowan was on talk sport a couple of months ago saying he was happy to see Coventry on the up again.

Hawksbee and Jacobs introduced him as a massive leeds fan and when alistair came on he pointed out although he does follow leeds one of his other teams is Coventry City who he had a big affiliation in the 90s when he lived in the area. Spoke very fondly of us and hoped this was the start of something new.

Went to school in Evesham with Ali McGowan, hes a few years older than me. Never knew he was a City fan.
I'm always dubious of anyone who reels off a list when asked what team they support.

He is. Was at the Belgrade a few years ago and talked a little bit about the football.

He did indeed score for Jamaica against Japan. He scored a great header on the stroke of half time and the Jamaica fans (the Reggae Boys) celebrated the goal right through the half time interval. Game ended 1-1 I think. He then got found out for touting his complimentary tickets and was in disgrace. Not sure if he got banned, fined or both ?

That’s ringing a bell too.
I’m not sure if he played in the same Wimbledon team as them but what impressed me most about that side was the size of the players. Fashanu, Jones, Sanchez et al were bloody massive and could play a bit too.

Was it he who touted them or did he pass them on in good will and they ended up being touted?
There's a few who have been caught out via the latter - (in)famously Bobby Charlton with Cup Final tickets a few years back, as I recall.

If memory serves me right, he innocently passed them on at a price but they ended up being sold on again. FIFA weren't impressed.

Bobby Gould and Keys still not mentioned anything I don't think? Bit weird when they are the first to pipe up about their "beloved club".

“I am passionate, it is my love and there are more of us who feel exactly the same than they realise.

“I am an ex manager, ex player and supporter and I want to know as an individual why we are at the bottom of League One right now.

“If they want to meet anywhere in the world I would jump on a plane and say what can we do to help.
