His apps all season long must be high

Rotation or injuries happen. Hyam would have played fewer mins for e.g but we know good he is

And? Players not allowed to lose form?

Davies was in form. Hes still bombed out and dont pretend he could play in our technical back 3

Willis played prob more mins than any other cb in league 2 campaign for us i wager. To turn on him cos he left is so beta

If hyam left tmrw u wud say mcfadz vailed him out and he was good as bsck 3 is a collective but we can easily replsce him etc

Willis HUGELY helped us get promoted. Thats a fact

Now he plays elsewhere and is apparently dping very well. No point denying it. Lets hope he has a off day sunday and thrn we all move on

He was in the squad for 36 League Two matches and started 35

Davies was in the squad for 33 and only started 15

Yes I am because that didn't happen. Willis played alongside Rod McDonald in the final few games of the season against Crawley, Stevenage and Lincoln, (Davies was on the bench all three times) and alongside Davies against Cheltenham and Notts County.

Willis wasn't in the squad at all against Morecambe so I'm guessing he picked up an injury.

To bypass the bickering for a mo... yes, Bailey Wright from Bristol City. Didn't let in a goal since he joined Sunderland on loan Bailey Wright | Football Stats | Bristol City | Age 27 | Soccer Base but now injured and out for probably the season.

He was ill

Davies’ absence means that Robins will have to reshuffle his back four with Jordan Willis and Rod McDonald both contenders to start the game.

Willis missed the first game because of illness but Robins is yet to decide who gets the nod.

“But with just one training session under his belt it was just too much of a gamble, especially on what turned out to be the conditions on the night with all the water on the pitch.

“He was ill last week so didn’t train until Thursday and Friday we didn’t really do anything other than preparation for the game so, in that sense, he had to be ruled out”

He hasn't responded to my post detailing the games Willis played in during the final few games of the season so I'm going to take that as a yes.

When Davies did his stamp it was Hyam that came in. WIllis was already in the team. I think that weirdly worked in our favour as Nolan spent all week trying to get Davies suspended instead of preparing for the second leg.

They have only let in 27 goals in 33 games. This run didn't start last month although they have improved. They are like us. Didn't start off well but have been improving. And many see Willis as their best player of the season.

Who is the player and when did he start playing for them? Has he played every game?

He was bought in during the window so he will only have played a limited number of games but it's coincided with their 'run'.

Now injured according to music dating and possibly out for the season.

And this thread shows what is wrong with this place. Incorrect comment? Just argue the toss. Ex player? He must be not worthy of a place in our side. No chance of him improving. Wouldn't have continued to improve with us.

I get you.

They say complemented Willis well. But Willis the better player still. Not my opinion but the opinion of those who see them play.

One player doesn't make a good defence. But one poor player can wreck a defence. Look at McFadz. He plays well our defence plays well. He has a bad game so do we.

he only played 5 games but it was their best 5 games sequence of the season defensively, (only conceded in one game, 2 against Portsmouth). Not that their defensive record was too bad prior to but they definitely went up a gear when he arrived. No offence to the lad, I'm glad he's injured for Sunday.

Didn't Robins make a last ditch offer in the summer to get him to stay? That would suggest he was valued and would certainly have been in the squad and probably in the team.
It was good to see a local boy in the team (played in the same school team as one of my sons) and that goal at Wembley gave me one of my all time City highlights. It was just an amazing moment as that was a Cyrille type of goal, not one you would expect from Jordan. Good player for our level who always gave his best.
That said, I hope he has a crap game Sunday.

Had enough of being jumped on here for having an opinion. On there mainly as we have upcoming game and those who have a go about a game nearly 50 years ago.

Had sime twat from here have a go at me for having a go at the idiots on there. But both stories will be correct of course.

CCFC is my first love. Wish it wasn't sometimes. Then I watch Palace. The next team I watch the most is Sunderland. But many won't understand.

I go to games with mates. We don't always have a game when other clubs do. I do countless thousands of miles each year watching football. Coventry playing? I will be there if I can. Am I only supposed to watch one team? Can I not go to games with mates who don't support City? Have had idiots on here having a go at me for going to City games with lads who don't support City. One of our visits to Wembley coincided with Palace playing at Chelsea. Had to take verbal diarrhoea for that for wanting to watch both games.

Why should idiots decide how I live my life?
