I predict a GOALFEST. 4-3. I also reckon we'll score the winner in added time & finish the game with 10 men.

However, I'll be watching this at home with my feet up, nursing a massive hangover....

....but don't worry, I'm no sky sports sell-out. Sky stole football...I'm stealing it back.

Sunderland look a threat, but this season we are superior. They very nearly got beat at home by Fleetwood but for a very late equaliser. Fleetwood are full of Joey Barton tenacity, and a threat to other sides they still have to play in and around the top 6.. I think Sunderland's recent run flatters to deceive. We should win this one. Listening to extremely good comments from Fankity Dabo suggest the togetherness and confidence of achieving promotion is a reality.
2-0 TOP.

How many times have you seen them play to form that judgement?

Long ball merchants we should prevail but another physical test would like to see 1 up front tbh in Godden & Jamie Allen back in that midfield Kelly is looking really tired and off the pace we need that extra man in midfield,I expect them to press us high and hard early on so no mistakes please lads.

Didn't see or hear any of last nights game. Think the 2 ACM's would be better suited for Sunderland though - drop Biamou and bring in Allen. I'd also be tempted to have COH on the bench and let Shipley start, use his energy to tire them out for an hour or so. Much prefer it when we've got the ability to dial up the attacking intent off the bench. From what I've read Giles could also be an interesting option from the bench as people seem to think he's pretty rapid.

Marosi
Rose...Fadz...Hyam
Dabo...Kelly...Allen...McCallum
Shipley...Allen
Godden

Wilson, Pask, Giles, Westbrooke, O'Hare, Biamou, Bakayoko

Think it'll be a tight affair and either 0-0 or 1-1. A draw wouldn't be a terrible result. As long as we don't lose (but don't approach the game with that mindset - go out there aiming to win)

Thought Giles looked quality when he came on could we see him start Sunday,O’Hare was immense last night where does he get his energy from he does not stop what a credit he is for a player that’s not our own.

Decent footballing side, if we play how we can then we will win 100% as we are a better footballing team.

That being said its football and anything can happen.

Just don't lose and we are in poll position with the game in hand

they'll offer us more opportunity to play 'our' game than Rotherham did I'm sure of that.

Mentioned before. A good working class city with a proud industrial heritage, a bit like Coventry. Yes they have some idiot fans but then so have we. I like the people from the north east that I have met, funny and warm hearted has been my experience. I’m sure the majority of Sunderland fans are okay.

Need to win this. Lose this and Wycombe win, and we're down to 4th. Need to keep getting the wins to keep us in the top 2 and keep the pressure on Rotherham.

3-1 us.

Shipley/energy - really? He is usually blowing out of his arse after 25 minutes.

He usually tires around the hour mark but he puts a shift in prior to that.

And he may be instructed to do that.
Burn his energy and then substitution.

They've had over 60% possession in their last three games, this would probably suggest they are not.

They are both on there more than on here now. I agree despite them trying to be diplomatic and nice they get nothing but the usual abuse and sarcasm from their fans. Why bother to carry on kissing their arses its pretty obvious the idiots on there cant hold a normal conversation and have so much bitterness towards us they are so far up their own arses its unbelievable

OK - give in. Won't go on there any more! Not having it that I post on there more than on here though. I go on a lot of other clubs forums to find out stuff. Posted quite a bit on the Sunderland forum because I was intrigued at some of the rubbish on there - but a lot of them are also normal!?
Anyway, as I've been officially been reprimanded by the SBT sub-committee, I;ve done the washing up as penance and promise to gesticulate in the appropriate manner on Sunday.

I think we’d already started playing 15 yards further forwards. Walsh was the main difference second half

Need to win this considering we're away at Ipswich after that which I think we will be lucky to get anything from.

return of Jordan Willis "the best defender in L1" according to their site. He's not bad but would rather our defence without him
