Big games keep on coming. Would take a draw but I’ll be honest our performance second half last night has got me getting greedy.

Back to the box and Allen in for Biamou for me.

Could do with a win from this really, a draw isn't going to be terrible but given the performance last night i think we should be aiming for a narrow win. Hopefully we see a bit more of Giles over the next few weeks, nothing wrong with McCallum but he looks a good option off the bench.

Feel more confident with this one at the moment. Rotherham are the type of team we lose to normally, Sunderland we completely outplayed in October (or whenever it was) and we'll get more time on the ball.

Win and it is definitely on.

A draw or loss wouldn't be the end of the world here but it would be great to pick up some points. Sunderland are on a solid run at the minute having only conceded once in 5 games, scoring 9 in the process.

I can't see too many goals in the this. I'm predicting another 1-1.

Definitely go back to 1 up top hopefully packing the midfield back out will help Kelly get back to form take a draw but win would be massive for us and help burst their bubble

That run and cross when he game on is maybe something that is lacking from McCallum. I thought it was telling that he came on just after Sam had failed to get his cross in from a really good position. It would be good to see what he can do.

Mentioned before. A good working class city with a proud industrial heritage, a bit like Coventry. Yes they have some idiot fans but then so have we. I like the people from the north east that I have met, funny and warm hearted has been my experience. I’m sure the majority of Sunderland fans are okay.

definitely. I actually think the change was right last night but Rotherham are an anomaly with the height they have and the way they press. Back to what we do best for Sunday.

Ask him then why this sudden and ridiculous animosity regarding that Bristol City match over 40 years ago and do they show the same animosity to Bristol who happily took part in the same event.

It's just online morons. All the recent games I've had conversations with their fans who are decent people and had a balanced view of the game. They've just got a mental forum.

Being from Sunderland and hating Jimmy Hill for something that happened in 1977 after following advise from the police?

Going out in Birmingham Saturday night. The guy in Roost told us it opens at 8am on Sunday.

Putting two and two together...

Anything I may say on SBT during that time should not be given in evidence.

Sunderland look a threat, but this season we are superior. They very nearly got beat at home by Fleetwood but for a very late equaliser. Fleetwood are full of Joey Barton tenacity, and a threat to other sides they still have to play in and around the top 6.. I think Sunderland's recent run flatters to deceive. We should win this one. Listening to extremely good comments from Fankity Dabo suggest the togetherness and confidence of achieving promotion is a reality.
2-0 TOP.

Another long ball team to deal with, but think we have enough quality to do them.

As mentioned definitely bring Allen back in for Biamou.

On a side issue, these wankers just can't help themselves.

Jimmy Hill

Long ball merchants we should prevail but another physical test would like to see 1 up front tbh in Godden & Jamie Allen back in that midfield Kelly is looking really tired and off the pace we need that extra man in midfield,I expect them to press us high and hard early on so no mistakes please lads.

Not a 'must win' game as such, but we need to win and start putting distance between us and 3rd
