Could do with the win and the £10k for winning. Can afford to pick a reasonably strong side, including Shipley and whoever they intend to use as cover for McFadz on Saturday. Interesting to see who he picks up front - Kastaneer/Bremang ? (although they looked a bit powder puff against Ipswich u23s the other night)

Good opportunity to get some minutes into people's legs - I personally would pick quite a stong team and persist with a 3-5-2 formation.
I would give Kasta & Hiwula a go in a front two - O'Hare & Kelly to come on and change game if needed.

Controversial but overall team results seem to have gone downhill since O'Hare stopped being used as impact sub.

Given our other games in this competition 0-0. Have to have the likes of Bremang and Bapaga given at least some time on the pitch given the injuries/suspensions. Expect to largely see run-outs for reserves/U23's

Don’t think Checkatrade games count when you get a league suspension. Or they’d be players taking a tactical fifth or tenth yellow card in the league before a Checkatrade game

I assume therefore the same is true for Fadz.

This competition stands on its own in terms of suspensions, so the weekends League suspensions do not apply. McFadzean & Biamou will therefore be eligible to play.
I would therefore expect the team to be:

I thought there was some weird rule where Biamou can't play due to red card, but it still didn't count towards the 3 game suspension. Edit: different for yellow cards, so Fadz I think can play, but Max can't ( waits to be corrected!!)

Half of me says play the first team to give them a chance to get a win under their belts and improve confidence. The other half said they’ll still fail to score and it’ll hurt confidence

Considering most of them seem to come during training by that logic you could argue they shouldn’t be training. I’m not a big believer in avoiding playing someone unless they’ve got a niggle or some other reason to think they’re at risk.
