Oh and also, I watched on ifollow so heard the commentary as well - Martin Winch certainly has less time for Benno's banter than Clive!

Although him pulling him up on his many pronunciations of Bakayoko when he must have called Westbrooke Westwood over half a dozen times.

Thought we played okay was especially pleased for Eccles and Drysdale both did well, Bakayoko just not good enough

Big big game Saturday. 3 points there coming into Christmas would be huge. Not forgetting our advantange of a game less in a busy period.

Having such a strong midfield is paying dividends in these games, last season we lose that game,

In other news has anyone else left iFollow on after the game and heard the video editors piecing the clips together and having numerous takes on the commentary??
oddly enjoyable. Can’t wait for something absolutely outrageous to be said

well I think he got a hand to it but regardless.

they hit the woodwork - they had a shot in goal blocked by a defender - Drysdale made a goal saving challenge - but they shouldn’t have been more up.

oh and Baka is a good forward.

ok
They were 1 up by virtue of the one that went in. As we all know very well, hitting the post, having shots blocked or even having several shots that don't go in count for nothing except useless stats.
Good to see so many posts from you during the match, how do you make the time to come to your so insightful comments when you spend so much of it looking at a screen?

Benno is not quite as silky on the radio as he was on the pitch is he ?!!

Good, hard fought, win today, especially when you consider the number of players out

Only annoyance was some bloke a few rows back slating Westbrook in the last few mins when the lad had run himself into the ground. Some of our fans are clueless !
Yep clueless!

Thought the crowd was dead as a dodo today. Only really heard some singing after we went ahead.

At the Ricoh it would have just remained dead

It’s not difficult - believe it or not you can actually type and look away from the phone at the same time

We got away with that today. We had much of the ball but it took a worldy to win it.
Allen, O'Hare, Kelly and Walsh will make us strong. Shipley and Westbrooke are too lighweight over 90 minutes.
Mcfazdean is the leader we need at the back and Biamou the man to get on the end of things while Godden is out.
But it's 3 points and MR's will be talking about the positives when really Rochdale had little to offer. Yep we got away with a win today with a scary at times weakened lineup.
Rochdale offered far more than Accrington and Tranmere. And as others have pointed out, with the players who weren't available today, I reckon this is a massive 3 points for us.

Get in, needed that, after the poor run we've been on.

Struggling with this a little. We’re unbeaten in 7 in all competitions. Given the injuries and suspensions, that’s a great return. Maybe not playing the best in all those games, but that’s different to a poor run.
