100-0 and Reid to score an over head kick from our own box........

Ok 4-1

Virus going round the squad. Some players will be missing.

A crunching tackle on one of their players in the first few minutes wouldn't go a miss, get the crowd worked up.

People laugh when I say that, but next time theres a few handbags between players watch how excited and how behind our players they get!

Had Doyle ever actually made a tackle?

Leading up to him being out of position?

Missing Stokes and Grimmer too it seems for tomorrow.

Haynes in, Willis over to the Right or DKE in on the right and Willis / McDonald?

Hope I'm wrong but I am going for a 3-1 loss. Not filled with confidence from what Robins was saying.

Unless it is all a hoax and we put out our strongest 11 tomorrow and smash them, just mind games.

Disappointed I’m missing tomorrow, especially after sitting through every home game with 6/7k, I’m going to miss seeing the stadium full for the first time in ages!

I think we’ll win tomorrow, mainly because we absolutely have to, so hopefully they are fired up, however if we start with Kelly/Doyle in the middle then we have no chance.

Without knowing who is ill, and assuming Grimmer/Stokes are out, I’d go:

Burge
DKE
Willis
McDonald
Haynes
JMD
Bayliss
Doyle
Shipley
Biamou
McNulty

With Reid and JCH on the bench ready to make an impression.

My worry is that Robins will go with Doyle/Kelly to try and compensate for the enforced defensive changes.

BREAKING: Virus hits Coventry City ahead of promotion clash, Robins reveals

Robins today maintained the 18-year-old was capable of playing on the right or a role in a diamond formation. He would not be drawn further on team selection.

Defenders Tom Davies (broken collar bone), Chris Stokes (hamstring) and Jack Grimmer (hamstring) are all out after sustaining injuries during the disappointing 2-1 defeat at Forest Green Rovers last week.

Will be interesting to see what he does, although not very confident

I'd go with:

Burge
Kelly Evans
Willis
McDonald
Haynes
Doyle
Bayliss
Shipley
Maguire Drew
Biamou
McNulty

Got a feeling that Bayliss will be on the right again though

I get the feeling you're right, Kelly doesn't look fit IMO and should only start if Bayliss and Doyle aren't available too.

He will be. And 100% you'll have Doyle & Kelly in the middle. (unless the virus dictates otherwise!)

Translation: 'I want to play Reid but I know it will cause a backlash. If I tell the fans there has been some illness then they will sympathise with my team selection.'

Yep, I think Robins saying he can play anywhere he puts him gets it in there early.

I think McConville is on the left for them and he is their main provider so it would put pressure on Bayliss to track back and defend a lot.

I think they’ll be moving him to their right when they see the team sheet

U23 lineup, make from that what you will.

Clarke Harris, Reid, Beavon, Ponticelli, JMD, Addai, Haynes, Hyam missing from that.

This was the last game.

I noticed something funny about Doyle in the FGR game, when Kelly got fouled him and Reid (I think it was him who fouled him) were talking and Doyle went storming over but then he must have realised halfway they weren't having beef so then just suddenly changed and slowed down.

Very worrying. If you are slightly unwell that is like playing at 80% capacity due to carrying an injury.

Am guessing quite a few changes and possibly a look across to the subs bench upon the announcement of the lineup with lots of cries of 'who?' from puzzled fans.

Depends who's suffering I guess. If it's Burge I think we are okay with LOB coming in. If it's Biamou we should be fine with JCH, but if it's Willis or McNulty or Bayliss we could be in trouble.

I will be astounded if he doesn't start Doyle and Kelly together.
As much as I'm not a massive fan of playing the two together it's been OK against the better sides, it's when we've been playing teams lower down the league that it's let us down the most. Last week been a prime example.

We'll drift away from 7th, let alone 2nd or 3rd!

Last week I said I hope it’s not a case of after the Lord Mayors show which it most certainly was!
I see it as a win/win situation for Accrington Stanley as they will be under no pressure whatsoever, whereas, with 29000 Sky Blues fans expecting a good performance/victory this could hamper us and hopefully we don’t freeze on the day.

Fuckin wife has told me what the “surprise” is for tomorrow and it’s a romantic Valentines meal, at 7pm!!

Not happy. Said “I could’ve gone to the game!!!” “Oh, but I thought you’d need a couple of hours to get ready!”

Grrrr. If I wasn’t trying very hard to make things work right now...

On the Saturday before, is she trying to be cheap and not pay Valentine's prices?

Where you going?

Can just imagine it being one of the places at the Ricoh or somewhere near by and loads of pissed up CCFC fans appearing while he is trying to be romantic

She's right though. Only a mug would pay extra for the mass catered overpriced shite that is peddled on Valentine's day
